Hoping just to have a fun brainstorm collaboration with whoever wants. I haven't seen this specific system anywhere yet.
I want to stay within boundaries and not add different modes if that makes sense. Like feel free to spitball whatever, but my initial feeling is that the tighter the system is in this case, the better.
Imagine a character's decisions influencing a harmony/dissonance meter. This would have to do with their own feeling towards their actions as well. Those well trained in meditative practices may be able to control their alignment through focus.
Harmony:
- Golden (divine?) wavy energy.
- Generally positive.
Dissonance:
- Crackling (sparky?) energy.
- Generally de

Trying to come up with something completely original here. This one is kind of niche and abstract, but there's something to it. Add on anything you'd like!
Framework:
- The most powerful people in this world are the best story-tellers. They are not famous and the ability is a myth, not spoken of commonly.
- They do not change the past. Though not a magical ability, the stories are often used to manipulate those in power or in positions to affect something necessary for the story-teller.
- Details of the story are where the magic lies; subtle embellishments on ability or character of ones self or others has a real effect on the traits mentioned. The more people hear the story, the more

Thinking it may be fun to collectively build a system together that's (to my knowledge) different to anything I've ever found.
Framework:
- Takes place within a civilization that heavily stresses the importance of family lineage.
- Abilities within the same family share a theme.
- Mixing bloodlines grants intuitive joinings of the two original magics (though maybe diluted).
- Those within the bloodline can feel when a relative is using the ability, regardless of whether or not they experience it firsthand.
Other than that, I'll leave it up to you all. I'm excited to see some super creative shit come from this.

I only recently started using Reddit for unrelated things. Seems like a good place to find artists that want to submit something they made. Just checking through many art subs, large and small, and finding that contest posts are prohibited. Looking for the best way to reach people that regularly do fan art and would be interested in participating in a new thing for a chance to win some money. Can give more detail as needed. Appreciate any on-site suggestions as I'm familiar and planning on using other sites as well. Thanks!

Hoping to see if anyone else experiences this. Since the first time I got the full body vibrations, every single time I reach that point now, I black out. Then I snap out of it, wide awake, hours later with fading memories of what I believe are communications. Usually spend the following day piecing together bits of information but it's tough without context.
