Genuinely curious, I've been playing all their albums since seeing them live a couple months ago and while I could obviously see who was singing what in person it's harder with just a recording. Are there any vocal 'tells' Brian or Michael have that helps you tell them apart?

*Not asking anyone to plan a whole itinerary for me*
I'm currently looking at various route ideas trying to decide one that fits well for me. I have never been outside of my home country (UK) before, so currently almost everywhere in mainland Europe is unknown to me and therefore tempting. However, I would not want to create a ridiculously packed schedule, or to only go to certain locations just to 'say I've been there'.
I am interested in how the more experienced travellers on here chose where to go on their first trip. Was it dictated primarily by your budget, time allowance, or particular interests (nightlife, museums and galleries, nature etc)? How did you avoid FOMO and focus on wha
I'm about to graduate university with a bachelor's degree and I have no idea how to get a job or if I can even get one. I didn't get a job at 16/17 like many do because the pandemic and lockdowns and I haven't worked through university other than volunteering and an internship that was a required part of my degree. I had some time out of education due to illness, and I have lived at home throughout university to save on rent. My degree is humanities adjacent and does not lead to an obvious career path.
The job market in my country is extraordinarily bad at the moment but I feel like I've ruined any chances I might have by not locking in and getting some paid experience in the previous few y
Hi, I'm very new at this and planning a trip to celebrate graduating university, with the goal to travel between September and October. I have a prospective itinerary and would like the opinions of more experienced travellers on how well I could complete this in 3-3.5 weeks. I'm from the UK and would begin by travelling on the London Eurostar, but not stopping there for any sightseeing.
My current idea:
Paris - Strasbourg - Munich - Salzburg - Vienna - Venice - Florence
In your opinion or experience, would it be possible to have an enjoyable experience in each of these cities in my desired time frame? I'm not the type to cram a lot in but I'd like to do at least one activity in each pla
Hello,
I'm currently considering my first mainland Europe trip, lasting around 2-2.5 weeks and following the route of Paris/Amsterdam/Berlin/Prague/Budapest/Vienna by train, and then flying back to the UK where I live. I am planning to book this for late September or early October, and would love some season specific recommendations for attractions and activites, along with any hostels you've had good experiences with. Anything you know to be reduced in price around this time would be welcomed!
Thanks and happy travels!
Took a chance on it as I like FBT's album but don't have anyone coming with me - come and say hi if you'll be at the Bodega!
Also for anyone who's been to a prior show I'd love to know what sort of an atmosphere to expect and if there's the possibility of a merch table/getting anything signed?
Hey guys, does anyone know if there will be a merch table at the upcoming record store tour? And if so, would I be able to get the t shirt pictured here? I really want to get it but they don't have it in my size on the website
Hi,
I recently converted my account from Spotify to Deezer Premium and have been experiencing some issues with audio. For context, I use a Chromebook and Sony WH-CH520 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones: I'm a student who commutes to university and I like bluetooth headphones as they allow me to switch from my phone (IPhone 14) when on public transport and my laptop when on campus.
Since using Deezer with my Chromebook and headphones I have found the audio quality to be tinny and sort of 'washed out' , like there's water in the headphones. I have tried adjusting the audio quality from standard to high fidelity but haven't noticed any difference. I checked back on Spotify and found the audio is
Hi everyone,
Has anyone else been getting consistent messages which read "video unavailable, please try again later' when they try to click on a video? I had an adblock extension and a VPN on and I tried turning both off but was still getting the same result. It usually goes away and plays the video if I refresh the page. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks in advance.
Context for anyone who's unfamiliar: Tiny Desk concerts are a series of live performances associated with NPR where bands/artists typically play 3-5 of their songs, often a mixture of old and new. I think Jesse's music suits the format well and would be curious as to what songs he might play. If it were up to me, the setlist would be:
1: Fat (one of his first songs to gain attention and he often opens concerts with it)
2: Gilgamesh
3: That Can't Be Right (Patchwork remains my favourite album and I think any song on it would be great for Tiny Desk)
4: The Great Caucasian God
5: Anything But Me
Bonus: Artists sometimes close out their performance with a fun song to sing along to, which B
I (F21) am going through some pretty stressful times. A loved one has an upcoming medical examination which is partly to test for cancer. The doctor has reassured us that this is to rule out the most serious possibility based on her symptoms (she is only presenting one or two that match) instead of to confirm a strong suspicion, and even if she were to have it, it would likely be the kind that can be treated well. I know all this but the situation has left me in shock and struggling to process things.
I now cannot stop thinking about people in my life dying, including ones who are not exhibiting symptoms of any illnesses. The anticipation of the examination day has left me so anxious that I
Hi everyone,
Since seeing (and meeting!) Jesse live last week I've been feeling motivated to start playing guitar again. For context, I took guitar lessons for about 4 years in secondary school and have practiced intermittently since but I'm definitely rusty. I know basic chords and barre chords and I'm looking at the CAGED system so I can play more freely around the neck.
For guitarists in the subreddit, what are some Jesse Welles songs you'd recommend for someone getting back into playing guitar? My current favourite song is Let It Be Me, which looks more difficult so some easier ones would be great. I've been playing around with Fear Is The Mind Killer and found that reasonably easy. An
Hi everyone,
I have a ticket for the London concert of the FITMK tour next month and was wondering if anyone who's been to previous dates knows if Welles is willing to do autographs/pictures after the concert? I'd love to get something signed by him as I collect autographs from concerts I go to, but will completely respect it if it's not something he's up for doing.
Thanks for any help and hope to see some of you in London!
Hi everyone,
A few months back my Instagram account developed an issue where it wouldn't load reels, the explore page or my personal account's feed, and wouldn't let me search for other people's accounts (https://www.reddit.com/r/Instagram/comments/1glucs4/reels\_explore\_page\_and\_posts\_not\_loading/). My home feed, stories and DMs worked as normal, but I couldn't click on people's accounts or view posts from their stories. I found I could fix this issue by logging out and logging in again, but the app would occasionally log me out without warning. Yesterday, this happened again, only I am now unable to tap the three horizontal lines that take you to settings and privacy. Therefore, I
