High CPU Temp Anyone Else?

:Question:Question

Anyone else have high CPU temps when on rivals compared to any other game??? On other games I’m sitting at around 75-85c when under high demand. On rivals I’m at about 65% usage on my I7-13700k and hitting temps of 85c on the menu and 90-97c when in game. Updated bios, checked aio, turned off turbo boost, dusted, changed cooler speed. Kinda at a loss on what to do next cause i don’t have problems on other games.

I don't know if it's because it's an OLED that I'm having this issue (it's my first), but when I turn HDR on in Windows settings and in games it causes my screen to become much darker in brightness and have much more washed out colors. I figured I'd ask because I have tried every possible solution to fixing this but I can't find one. I've played through all the settings, and my Samsung doesn't have this issue. It genuinely feels like the colors on this monitor are better when in SDR than HDR and I have no clue why.

Anyone else having an issue when using frame gen. I feel that the UI jitters and ghosts when moving my camera so it makes it hard to shoot because the crosshair jitters all over the place. I can try to take a video of it when I’m home later to show, but it makes the extra frames not worth it because it’s quite literally unplayable. Ironically, when I use the FSR version I don’t get this issue but also don’t get any substantial frame increase at the same time. Anyone know how to fix it?

It started with the battlefield 6 beta. That’s when I first noticed this was starting to happen and then just today with the latest release of drivers I wanted to test smooth motion on games like Fortnite and marvel rivals (even though marvel rivals already has framegen). I have the same exact issues seen in this video except on my reticle in game. Battlefield 6 was exactly like shown in this video except I just chalked it up to it being a buggy beta. Is there anyway to fix it now that I know it’s my system because framegen is kind of a necessity to play at decent frames on my 4k monitor now for newer titles?

Nvidia DLSS and Frame Gen are finally back in the game and actually working for me unlike before. Only issue I’m having now is when using frame Gen having severe ghosting on holo and red dot sights but not on longer range sights. It makes it almost impossible to flick to another person. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Frame Gen

Battlefield 6

Anyone else noticing they’re getting worse frames when using frame gen in the beta? I’ll go from 140-150 fps on 4k to a solid 110-120 fps if frame gen is enabled. Running on a 4080 btw.

Bad Audio

Gameplay

For anyone experiences bad audio as well one of the best fixes I used was turning on windows sonic in sound settings of your pc. It seems like the new siege x engine uses a form of 3d audio that works best when paired with another app. It no longer feels like an echo chamber and I can actually hear footsteps and nitros below me!

Low FPS

Feedback

For anyone experiencing low FPS on siege x one the biggest fixes you can do is increase your texture VRAM cache size in settings. It drastically helped my buddy on a 3060 to going 60 fps on reworked maps to 170. It also helps other better card users. My 4080 will go from 150 on normal cache size to 240 on above normal cache size! Hope this helps!
