Let me start off by saying I loved the match itself and thought both Willow and Mercedes killed it. These two are an awesome pair, and I hope they continue to become all-time rivals because they have tremendous chemistry in the ring and their characters are great foils.
What I did not understand to this match were the finish, and why Mercedes went over here.
Re: the finish, I don't know if there was a botch, but Willow did not seem "passed out" when they rang the bell, and they cropped the shot in a way where Aubrey was outside the frame so we could not see if/how she was checking on Willow. After the bell rang seemingly too early, then Mercedes starting kicking down Willow's outstretched

You are the best ZB! You’re never in retrograde, and I genuinely appreciate when you try to say out of character things to make others laugh. I’m sure the golf baddies appreciate it too.

It’s really annoying and recently got me into a car accident. Thankfully I’m a pretty big deal, so my cop fan tried to blame the young woman I crashed into, and my friends in the media are treating me like the brave and beautiful boy that I am and reporting the whoopsie on my terms and timelines. Anyway, strap your phones down, folks!

Called “Pyramid Scheme” and it’s a fruited apricot wheat. Had it on tap last night and it brought back some memories of drinking Pyramid Apricot ales way back when. Good stuff!

Per Shams: “The Philadelphia 76ers are trading C/F Johni Broome and a second-round pick to the Los Angeles Clippers for cash considerations, sources tell ESPN. The deal allows the 76ers to stay under both first and second aprons while signing LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope”

He’s on the Lowe Post talking so much shit about the fit and depth and casually throwing out Embiid trades as if he wasn’t the #1 Jokic bootlicker in the world.
I know it’s been a few years since those MVP battles, and he seems to have a more national role with the Ringer now, but I know folks in this sub would never forget!

Rumors about the Coliseum’s demise at the end of 2026 intensify, as there’s currently nothing on the calendar there post December and their top tenant is leaving. :(

Incredible work by the fans, Last Dive Bar, Oakland 68s, and so many others that made it happen. One of the last few special days for Oakland A’s fans before the void. FJF.💚💛

I truly do NOT post this as hopium or indication that the A’s could come back. I just want to see this project go up in metaphorical flames, and I want to see FJF fail.

The mix of genuine shock and joy was amazing, along with the ending with nobody being willing to go the full ‘we’re going to do this!’ Really captured the feelings after Game 6 and the fear and excited anticipation of Game 7. God I hope the Sixers of the last 5 quarters show up.

We prob weren’t good enough to make a real run either way, but Orlando up 3-1 makes me think. Obv we woulda had to win the 9-10 game which wasn’t a given.
