I've been playing terraria with the calamity mod, thorium mod and dual wielding. When I have the obsidian shield equipped I still get knockback from some enemies, mostly bosses but also some other monsters.

Before you ask, no I'm not dashing into them with shield of cthulhu. No the obsidian shield is not in the vanity slot.

Could it be a bug or is this a feature of any of the mods I'm using?

I usually don't complain about skins since it doesn't impact gameplay. The new shovelknight skins though are just confusing to play against and can cause you to make terrible mistakes. First of all, the names. Why does the new skins change the name of the hero? I don't care about the name of the opponent's skin, however not knowing who you're facing off against is a major disadvantage. I (now) know the name is displayed underneath the hero instead, but it took me a couple of matches to realize that "shovel knight" was just Orion in disguise and not in fact a new hero.
