Hello thanks for trying to find this short story. I couldn’t think of a way to word the title better without it getting too long. Basically a few months ago I read a short story online. I frequent r/horrorlit and it could’ve been linked there or it just came up in some other search I did way back when. The story seemed modern but I can’t remember the author. It could’ve been a story in an online magazine also. I’m going to try my best to describe it, but it’s a very strange and surreal story.

Anyway it’s about a small town where every person wears a full head covering mask of another person’s face. For instance, if a character is a teenage girl, they could be wearing the mask of an auto me

Just saw a post about the Swiss trip and realized there’s a bunch of promos for tonight’s ep on Facebook. There’s one where they go tobogganing down a hill and can I just say if there’s one competition Whitney is DESIGNED to win…it’s the one that involves sliding down an incline 😆. Who else has also seen the horrible viral video of a guy intentionally crashing into a poor girl while riding one of these toboggan rides? Like my brain went straight to “Whitney’s going to plow into poor Jamie”. There’s a moment where Angie is speeding towards Whitney at the bottom and I thought we’d see some carnage but I think the angel on her shoulder won that one.

But for real vacation time should NOT equal

I watched the promo for season 11 and was curious about how much input Whitney would have in the editing of this show? Surely she’s trying to make herself look better after the fact because that original promo makes Jamie look like some spoiled girl. After seeing the episodes she appeared in, the consensus is literally the opposite! I thought it was interesting how they tried to frame Jamie as a “just treat me right and we’ll be fine” brat when she was actually great and completely undeserving of Whitney’s competitive shit.

Hey all. I know bands like FM, The Pogues, The Dreadnoughts, Black Water County, are often called folk punk and have a very Celtic/Irish style. They use Irish instruments (strings, whistles, etc) along rock guitars and drums. They sing traditional Irish ballads, and use melodies, rhythms, etc that are mostly Celtic. And I love it for sure. But I’m not Irish and was curious if there are any folk punk bands that have a similar vibe that are Scandinavian. I don’t know if I’m searching the wrong key words but all I come up with is hardcore Viking metal, hardcore punk (I’m really wanting to hear “softer” or more melodic punk/alternative rock), or like really traditional stuff that’s more adult co

Hey all. I had come across this YouTube channel a year or two ago (I think) from a sub that was close to r/analog_horror or something similar. It’s a YouTube series about one or two college-aged/twenty-something women that travel to a small town to interview locals and look into the lore of the town’s “monster”. I remember the local shops had hand drawn postcards of the monster, one of the film crew develops a sickness or something during the shoot, and near the end they are in the woods and able to film the “monster” (it’s all clearly fake but still entertaining and I’d like to revisit it).

As I was writing this out I remember a big component was that the locals would go into a trance and

Just like title I just got the fishing pole from Willy and the fishing minigame bar is too big on my phone screen. I was looking for another “screen is too big for phone” post but I figured I’d just make my own post and ask the question. Is there some setting in my iPhone (iOS 1.5 update) that I need to change? Thanks!

I have just recently found this sub and holy cow I am in love with the goblincore aesthetic! It ticks so many boxes of things I love. As with anything else I newly discover I get crazy impatient and am dying to know what other subs there are out there similar to this place. I’m not so much thinking about r/crafts etc but something similarly special and unique. Thanks in advance!

Hey I just found Nick’s videos and am loving his clip breakdowns. I wondered if he had a sub Reddit and this seems a little inactive. Is there another sub for him or does this one just need some more action?

Thanks in advance!

Josh did a 180 for money

josh being a hypocrite

So in the Dougherty snarkety sub somebody had linked the DCP merch store showing that he is now selling “Grab a Yapple” shirts, mugs, etc.

I rolled my eyes and then remembered a very specific comment he had made in a video that I watched a while back. Turns out in this video about 7-8 minutes in, he shows a similar image and OUTRIGHT says he would never sell that merch bc he knows that the kids classmates would use it to bully the kids.

It’s just such a blatant 180 and it’s all so obvious that he is only in this shit for money.

Basically the title is my main question. I’m a new King reader and it seems like the Dark Tower series is the be-all end-all that I will eventually come across. The thing is anything set in the old west with cowboys, desert, horses, etc is a snooze to me (I’ve lived in Texas all my life as well). Is the series just swimming in the genre bc I’ve read that the books >!kind of “jump around” to modern day or other time periods.!< I’m not looking for spoilers exactly; I just really don’t care for Wild West stuff.

Who’s seen the short she just posted on YT where the boys are playing with some battle toy thing? She’s reading like a full script “they’re equipped with new weapons and the elemental powers of water, fire, blah blah blah”. Like a full on commercial. Has she done this before? Is she wanting her kids to be the next Ryan’s World? It also doesn’t look like a toy the twins got for their bday so it’s another new toy just days after their birthday binge? It comes off really desperate and she disabled comments too.

Question about old YouTube scandal

New to the Family Vlogging Game

Hi I’m new to this sub by way of the weird Dougherty dozen vlog lol. I remember hearing about a scandal years ago (on ONTD even) and was curious about whatever came of it.

It was a family vlog and the dad allegedly had been caught messaging or texting minor girls while his family was on vacation? I think I remember one of the victims mentioning that he had been sitting poolside by the girls and then he got their information (I believe). I remember it was all very early days of the scandal when I read about it on ONTD and was wondering whatever became of the dad and his family.

Thanks if you’re able to remember this super vague story.
