We seem to have a small number of active users that do see the things posted in this sub recently and are at least showing them love by upvoting which is really appreciated!

I’d love to hear from some people in the sub about what you’re here for, why you initially joined, and what have you been doing in the fighting game space? Are you still playing SF? Are you still playing Manon? Maybe you never played her and just like her?

I took about a year long break after competing at Evo 2025. Played Manon in bracket and went 3-2. Didn’t play much until recently where now I’m trying to just get as good as I can still playing Manon!

This is the fourth shop update which means I waited a month for the skin I wanted to be available in my store. Today it finally appeared, but I'm not even interested in purchasing it anymore. I've purchased no other skins from the rotating store. How is this shop supposed to make money? I am genuinely confused.

I know there's already been a lot of controversy and complaining about the monetization model of this game. I am not making this post to stir up more uproar, but hopefully just to add another voice to those who are unhappy and upset with the rollout of early access. I am meaning for this to be criticism that hopefully reaches the devs, because I was really excited to get on and spend money today to learn that the things I am actually interested in, I can't buy.

For context here: I am a casual VGC enjoyer. Every now and again I get the itch to play VGC and climb the ranked ladder in-game. When I got news about Regulation H coming back, I was pretty excited because I really like a lot of the Pokemon in that format, and started playing again to build a team to climb ladder.

Of course, the only issue is... Regulation H is only for official events, and Regulation J is being used on the ladder. I found this out later after I had settled on a team. I was pretty disappointed because putting together a team was a pretty painful process. Regardless, I am also putting together a Regulation J team so I can climb ladder anyway.
