Background

My family was with Verizon and its predecessors from the early nineties (we had a brick phone) until January 2021. The Verizon account created in the 2000s was in my father's name. From what I can gather, the phone number associated with account when it was set up was my brother's phone number (867-5309). My father didn't have a cell phone at that point. My father caved in and eventually got a cell phone before we left Verizon in 2021. For whatever reason, the phone number associated with the account never got switched over to my father's number.

We switched to Spectrum in January 2021. They offered a bundle that at the time was a good deal. The Verizon numbers were porte

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on a good alternative to the M650L mouse? It doesn't necessarily have to be a logitech product. With how absolutely horrible they've been when we tried to troubleshoot the click sensitivity issue I'd almost prefer that it's not another logitech product. Which sucks because I'm a diehard logitech enthusiast. I have 4 different logitech keyboards, 6 different logitech mice, and a few other peripherals.

I love the form factor of the mouse. I have big hands (stretched length 10.5"; the palm is about 4.75" wide) and the M650L was the first truly comfortable mouse I've ever owned. My hand will start cramping up after an 3–4 hours with a regular

What do I need to do to get meaningful help from Support? I have gotten the runaround for over a month.

The (sort of) short version is:

  • I was bidding on an auction.
  • I watched as the seconds ticked down. The time remaining hit zero. I was happy; I thought I won.
  • Unbeknownst to me, I was outbid. The "You've been outbid" box didn't pop up. I had no clue that I was outbid.
  • I checked my email a few minutes later. I learned that I was outbid.
  • I scrambled to rebid and get back in the auction but it was too late. The auction closed a minute early (i.e. instead of closing 5 minutes after the last bid, it closed after 4 minutes).
  • The auction was a Namecheap auction.
  • The domain w

I had to reach out to the FSA on something quasi-adjustment related and the text read ”Adjustments… will continue through the end of 2024.”

So are we all going to wake up tomorrow–either hungover or still drunk, to updated payment counts? Or does this mean they’re not going to be done within the next 6 hours?

I’m joking. I already know how that is tracking. Have a fun and safe NYE y’all. And for the love of all things good, take a cab/Lyft/Uber if you’re worse for the wear. There isn’t an IDR plan for DUIs (OWIs if you’re in the land of bad corn, Iowa).

Cheers.

Does anyone else have increased pain during Northern Lights shows? They’ll be visible tonight as far south as Kansas and I’m getting my butt kicked by pain tonight. The first few times it happened I thought it was a funny coincidence. Two and a half years later it’s definitely not a coincidence.

I’ve long advocated for—and the hill I’ll die on, is to allow federal student loan borrowers to consolidate their loans into lower interest rates when conditions prevail. And if they already have a consolidation loan, they can reconsolidate into a lower interest rate.

Imagine all of the millions of borrowers who’d be that much better off if were able to lock into the interest rates that prevailed in 2020-2021. Undergraduate loans locked in at 2.8%, grad school loans at 4.1%, and PLUS loans at 5.1% would change lives.

I’m half-tempted to put my money where my mouth is and develop a website dedicated to such ideas. Do you think there’s a demand for that?

Finally, what are y’alls’ common se

What is ED Secretary Cardona's statutory basis for 0% interest during the current SAVE administrative forbearance? I can't find anything giving him the authority to set, even on a temporary basis, the interest rates for student loans. Only Congress can do that.

As a reference point, during the COVID, 0% interest rate administrative forbearance it literally took an act of Congress to set the rate on all federally-held student loans to 0%. I don't remember any sort of bickering about it because it was just so obvious that Congress needed to approve it that there wasn't even a question about it.

What has changed or what am I overlooking? Or is this just a big middle finger from Biden & Cardo

https://www.instagram.com/teamalphaprime/p/C6giifhLe9j/ My Kappa Sig brother from another mother is running a FAF Days of Thunder-themed car at Darlington this weekend. He’s dropping the hammer and going high in Turn 4.

That got me thinking about if there are/were any other fraternity or sorority members driving NASCAR or some other series. I’ll even take pit crew members, crew chiefs, race engineers, etc.

I’ll start with Brandon Brown. He’s an Sig Ep. His last big win was the fall 2021 Talladega race. To those wondering, yeah, he’s ‘that’ Brandon. The poor guy’s career was ruined by the “Let’s Go Brandon” dipshit reporter. He instantly became an involuntary lightning rod and legitimate sp

Get fucked. I didn’t violate rule no. 2. Maybe in a gray on rule no. 3. Y’all should actually read and understand your rules before enforcing them. This sub gargles dicks anymore anyways.

The House of Kolor bit about the neon paint colors fading so quickly. How different the colors of the cars were from scene-to-scene always rattled me. One of the OG Superflo cars “lives” not too far from me and it’s closer to Saturday night short track fluorescent red than it is pink.

Did anyone else's go up too?

Apparently the 25% increase in 2023 wasn't enough of a kick to the nuts, so they bumped mine up another 8.5% for 2024. And then when I click on the comps it comes back empty.

Is there any sort of standardized CFD program used across all the teams and also the FIA when designing a part and determining if it conform to specifications?

The laws of physics are universal and I get that, but there is sometime be a bit of difference/nuance between what real world testing finds [aero rakes, wind tunneling, etc] and the model predicts. What I’m wondering is if a team might be able to exploit those small differences for a performance advantage.

Thank you.

Key takeaways;

  1. The repayment restart has been a full-blown goat rodeo especially in regards to IDR plans applicants and borrowers.

  2. The ED placed “affected borrowers” into an administrative forbearance while they get things sorted out.

  3. Those placed into forbearance will be credited with qualifying payments for months spent in this administrative forbearance.

  4. You’re eligible for a refund of any recent payments made in a moment of panic.

  5. There may or not be 420K affected borrowers placed into an administrative forbearance.

  6. 4M borrowers have been successfully enrolled into SAVE to-date.
