Tagged as Spoiler all Books since there isn't one for The Murdered Sun. I've read all of the available chapters on Patreon but was unable to get the complete hard copy. For those of you who have read it all, how does it end? The last available chapter that I've found is Chapter 22 "Blank Space". This is the chapter where Hadrian finally encounters and kills a Cielcin. How much more of the book is there? It's so much different from EoS I honestly have no clue where the story is headed. Thanks in advance!

I'm currently on a reread of Morningstar and had the random thought that it would be awesome to get a journal/diary style novella of Mustang's POV through the first three books. I hit the scene where she's beating Darrow's ass in Quicksilver's conference room, his mask breaks and she see's he's still alive. It'd be interesting to get what went through her head from the Institute up to telling Darrow they have a child together. In the back half of the series we only get her thoughts after she has to balance her personal life with the responsibility of being the Sovereign. I'd also take a Sevro/Howlers novella from between books 3-4. Has PB expressed any interest in expanding this series in th

I'll see y'all on the Dharan side on the Tun, or whatever Pink Floyd said.
On my 4th time through Howling Dark, is it ever explained what cause the massive scar on Rustam? I don’t recall ever hearing about a similar thing happening. There’s the orbital laser in DiW but that didn’t blow a 100 mile chunk out of the planet. I haven’t read the Tales short stories since they are in physical print, just curious if this is ever explained or just a throwaway detail for worldbuilding
Hi y'all,
I haven't read the Tales short stories since I don't own a kindle. I know the future plan was for CR to release these as a collection. I can't remember if this was going to collect Tales #1 through #3 or if we have to wait for Tales #4 to drop. Thanks in advance!
I recently finished Disquiet Gods so I figured I'd start a casual reread while I wait to find another series to take up waiting for book 7. Obviously, DQ gods had all sorts of throwbacks with Kharn Sagara being the big one. However, one small similarity I picked up - in DQ whenever Selene kisses Hadrian he freezes up due to his belief if he rejects her then she could essentially have him locked up/executed. This is exactly how Kyra the lieutenant freezes up when Hadrian kisses her in EoS. Not sure if this was intentional but it was an interesting consistency between the first and sixth books. Also, I vaguely remember Hadrian mentioning some ruby lense glasses in DQ. Are these the same glasse
Howdy Apes,
I've noticed a large influx of posts/comments regarding quitting your day jobs as well as people just feeling ground down. I figured I'd start a fun thread where we could share some of the things we've been daydreamin' of doing once we have the financial freedom to pursue them. Maybe a hobby you just haven't been able to find the time/money/energy for, a passion project perhaps? Or maybe something as nice as getting out from that car payment or mortgage and establish an easier life for you & yours.
Personally, I'm looking forward to getting to spend more time with my dog (he doesn't quite get the work=dog chow concept). Beyond that, I'd really like to learn more about brew
So obviously the ending scene in last night's episode has everyone coming up with fun new theories on the Others and their society. However I want to address a question I have that I haven't seen brought up. How did this newborn survive the journey so far north in just a blanket and with what I'm assuming no food. We first see the infant as a fresh newborn and by the time the Other reaches the altar in the Lands of Always Winter the baby appears to have aged by what I'm guessing several weeks/months (never had kids, help?). Highly doubtful the Other is breastfeeding or nurturing it in any capacity. The baby hasn't died and been resurrected as far as I can tell. Not only is it alive but it ap
Wow. I've been playing halo since the original came out for xbox but this is the first time I have decided to pick up the books. Completely blown away by the space battles between the UNSC and Covenant. Obviously when you are playing you get pretty used to just beating ass with chief but I never truly grasped what an uphill battle so many of the other dynamics were. I'm interested in reading more, does anyone have any recommendations, preferably ones involving the fighting in space?
