Hallo, ich plane den Einstieg in den Rallyesport und muss entsprechend dann auch viel selbst Hand anlegen. Meine Erfahrung mit Schrauben beläuft sich leider bis jetzt lediglich auf Reifen wechseln, wird also ein harter Einstieg. Irgendwo muss man aber anfangen.

Was ich mich frage ist, wie oft benötigt man wirklich eine Hebebühne. Oft ist es sicherlich eine Arbeitserleichterung, klar. Aber ab welchem Punkt lohnt sich so ein Ding wirklich? Gibt es auch billigere Lösungen für den privaten Sektor?

Hi, how do you guys get the CSL DD to work for you? For me there is zero FFB. I have tried basically every "hack" there is to find online. But it slowly feels like only a small portion of people are experiencing this issue.

Hi, I need to add the ID of a school in a 500m circle around that school on the surrounding buildings.

I created a 500 meter buffer for every school. The buffers have the id of the school.
Now I want to use the Intersect tool on the buildings layer. It gets all the buildings, and adds a correct schul_id.

My problem is, sometimes buffers overlap and buildings need to have two schul_id.

I don't even know how I could logically solve this problem, but maybe someone else here also had it.
I would be very grateful for any ideas as I need this soon.

Hi, I want to travel to Croatia this year, but I only have the second and third september week free. I want to be somewhere near the coast. I know Italy usually has some nasty storms at that time, so I wanted to know if thats also the case in croatia.

So, is it worth to visit at that time of year?

Hi, ich habe momentan das Problem, dass bei meinem Kühlschrank die Rückwand anfriert. Und nicht nur eine dünne Schicht sonder die wird täglich einige Millimeter dicker. Das führt schnell zu schlechter Luftzirkulation und der Kühlschrank wird immer wärmer. Der Grund ist wohl die zu niedrig eingestellte Temperatur, allerdings werden darin Kühlpflichtige Medikamente aufbewahrt die zwischen 2 und 9 Grad gelagert werden müssen.

Hat damit irgendwer Erfahrung und einen Tipp? Alle paar Tage enteisen macht auf dauer keinen Spaß.

I set up an area to handle waste, but my Train Distribution Center doesn't want to transfer my waste between the two storages. It's simply supposed to pick up waste at City 1 (S1) if it's filled more than 50% and dump it into the storages at City 3 (S3).

Anybody got a tip for me?

I recently changed the battery of a Dell G15 Laptop (Windows 11). No drama, done that many times before on other laptops. So I thought.

The laptop now boots up normally, but once I log in it freezes, does a sound like removing a USB device and shuts down.

Here is the funny thing though. If I boot up the laptop on power supply and remove it afterwards, it works. So it's clearly a software problem.

Does anyone know what this is about?

Almost a year ago I met the must wonderful woman I could dream of. Beautiful, smart, independent, sweet, funny and simply a perfect match for me. Even though she is my first girlfriend, I have the strong feeling this could last.

So why does someone so great receive so much shit in their live? Besides an asshole of a father making her mothers life hell and what feels like general bad luck, she is blessed with 4 chronic illnesses. Irritable bowel syndrome, endometriosis, gluten intolerance and to top it all of, rheumatism. All in her early 20s.

My gf was on a vacation the last 14 days without me and she will stay with her parents for the weekend.
Her parents live 1,5 hours away from me. We really want to see each other again, but I don't find the need to visit her just for those 3 days. On friday I would also be working for half the day.
There is also a motor race I want to watch on saturday that is about 1 hour away.

She is really hurt that I put the event above her, while I don't think it is a big deal. AITA?

Ich habe mehrere Personen in meinen Leben, die gerne mal ewig lang in eine Schimpftirade verfallen und sich locker 10-20+ Minuten lang über jemanden oder etwas aufregen. Ich verstehe ja, dass man so etwas mal rauslassen muss. Mache ich auch mal, aber dann versuche ich trotzdem das Gespräch irgendwo hinzuführen und auszuweiten. Hier wird aber nur auf den selben Punkt eingegangen, immer und immer wieder. Versucht man selbst das Gespräch irgendwo anders hinzulenken, wird prompt zurückgerudert.
Außerdem sind es meistens wirklich keine dramatischen Sachen. Sobald das Gespräch vorbei ist denkt man eh nicht mehr dran und lebt sein leben weiter. Was soll ich da groß Input dazu geben.

I used to think the exact opposite. Basically, the more front biased the brakes are, the more the back pushes the front around. But obviously thats not the case.

I think it's fair to say it's a fairly common fact that Group B couldn't do a traditional handbrake turn due to their locked center diff, but apparently someone forgot to tell Walter Röhrl. At this years Histo Monte, we can see him using the handbrake to traverse 2 hairpins in his original 1986 Quattro.
Unfortunately, there is no pedal cam to see if he did something with his feet, but I think at the second hairpin it is apparent the handbrake does induce oversteer.

I'm about to finish a german campaign without capturing any enemy equipment. Pretty fun because I actually had to spread out my research and losses were not as replaceable without swimming in manpower from all that scrapped enemy stuff. Plus, it actually felt like I was playing the Wehrmacht instead of having 50% of my army consist of captured allied stuff.

What are some challenges you did to change up conquest for yourself?

I'm currently using a 300mm wheel and I'm thinking about getting a bigger diameter one (330mm/350mm) because thats whats commonly used in real life and it could improve my inputs. My concern is, the FFB might suffer using my Fanatec CSL DD 8nm.

Does anybody share their experience? Does the wheel diameter make a significant difference? Can a 8nm wheel base handle such big wheels without clipping into oblivion?
