I know the theory about it being our minds that decide what we see. Either we generate it or the beings do.

But what if these aren't craft or even necessarily animals? What if it's all a natural phenomenon and it looks different because our technology is changing. We're sending out different wavelengths than we used to, so they're interacting with this other matter differently, or even simply an unknown reaction between known things

  1. Ground yourself in this reality. Find a way to feel completely connected to this physical world that we live in

  2. Create yourself a defender aspect. Those with trauma probably already have one and can discover it with a therapy called IFS. Otherwise the shortest explanation is it's like making a tulpa, but as part of you and considerably stronger. Connecting it to something like a deity or historical figure helps make it more powerful, can even be a fictional character. Just has to represent great strength

  3. Begin trying out meditation and lucid dreaming techniques. Do it until something clicks, then stick with that as your foundation (totally fine to keep trying other things, but ke

Let's try again with more detail as requested :)

I've been lucid dreaming for a long time, happy to answer qs about how! For a long time I played around in my dreams, like cool I can fly. Eventually I figured out the recurring ones have something for me to figure out, so I got more intentional about it.

One time I took a huge dose of psilocybin and went all the way somewhere else. There were rainbow colored treble clefs there who wanted to show me things behind all these doors. I was too freaked out and asked to go back so they brought me to a door and reality was there. Apparently my body walked around in that time, always have a buddy!

Since then I've learned many more meditations, I

There is a part of every person we're meant to love. Finding that part in others is how we heal. It's different for everyone and only all together can it become complete.

This is really complicated. I'm not telling anyone to do anything. I'm only sharing.

I didn't understand the complexity part for a long time. Now I finally grasp it. I'm happy to answer any questions about my understanding, I know this is all so vague

Things like the gateway tapes seem to lead to lucid dreaming. I also read someone say that lucid dreams are a form of OBE. I didn't know this, and I'd like to know more

Flair literal and figurative haha

I know how to lucid dream btw, what I didn't know was that it's the goal people are seeking. I'm going back or sideways maybe

I'm reading Vallee's book and immediately he describes a bunch of UFOs seen in Japan over the centuries that were described as resembling the moon. This is the only UFO I've seen and I didn't know there were existing cases! Any stories I should check out?

Mine: I looked out the window one evening and saw a 2nd moon near the horizon, with colored lights blinking around it. I watched it for a few seconds and nothing happened. I went outside and it was gone. This was Canadian prairies ~2000. The window looked out over a field and there were more fields beyond, the house was at the edge of town.

I've never seen anything like it!

I love liminal space, the edge of understanding, unfathomable depths, twists of reality. But I also am obsessed with known science, especially human social behavior. Most of the things posted in this sub are just over excited pattern recognition or all out grifting and it's really obvious to people with a broader understanding. And it's boring.

I want my back to tingle so hard my butt flies away. The only way I get it anymore is by being in the pitch black. Anything plausible I can dive in to reading about? That is weird or unsettling?

It's FB of course, so no good if you're avoiding tracking. But for anyone like me who prefers to be able to just chat about topics, it is starting out pretty great. The algorithm is doing a very good job at showing me threads related to things I've said or reacted to and it has all been entirely focused on discussion. A con for me is all the people just using it to advertise, but it is part of insta so to be expected. I'm hoping I'll see less as the algorithm has more data

Gateway Art?

Discussion 🎙

Hi guys! I tried the tapes a while ago and really liked the experience so I've kept it up. It's by far the most interesting meditation I've done. I do personally see it only as that. To me I'm exploring the world my own mind creates, and it doesn't matter to my journey if I'm creating it or finding it.

Mind or gateway, it is very consistent. Including what it looks like there. It's taking over my art! So now I'm wondering if there's a place people share similar art. I'd really like to see in to where other people go

Discussion is good too if you have something to include about the tapes and art

So my in-laws live with us. It's good mostly, reduced costs, they watch my pet, we take care of them. But I can't seem to catch a shower ever! I avoid morning and evening so everyone else can shower. I tried late at night but the water turns off for some cycle to run.

So now I'm aiming for afternoon or late evening. Every single time I shower, regardless of time, I quickly lose hot water and get out to find the laundry is running. I don't want to have a conversation over nothing though, maybe it's a coincidence and I'm just exaggerating it due to wanting a fucking shower?
