Clementine isn’t really a character in the traditional sense — she’s a player surrogate. If you prefer her over Ellie, it’s probably because you like your version of Clementine, shaped by your choices. That connection is intentional, but let’s not mistake it for strong character writing.

Outside of Season 1 and 3, Clementine is barely written at all. You can turn her into a cold, violent survivor who tortures people, or a compassionate, selfless leader. The game allows for both extremes — because it’s not about her, it’s about you. That’s not authorship, that’s interactivity.

Ellie, on the other hand, is an actual character. She has consistent flaws, strengths, motivations, and arcs.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like the only fans that ever get featured on PTV socials are white women. I love white women as much as the next guy or girl, but lord have mercy can the rest of us get some love?

As a black male who is a MASSIVE fan, I’d love to see just ONE of us on the page who ISN’T the bands drummer 😂

I used to think that PPALS was a song about two people, one being the narrator, and the other being the narrators friend/lover who is taking care/looking out for them.

HOWEVER, I don’t think that there is another person AT ALL

I think that the song is really about addiction and the struggle between the sober and rational self, and the impulse addict.

“Think you’re getting the best of me, disarm this smoke alarm”

This could be seen as a command from the impulsive self?

“Fuck you! No one is gonna ruin all our fun” I think this is the impulsive side talking to the rational side.

Everyone seems to think that “not mattering” is the worst thing in the world.

In actuality, “mattering” is one of the single biggest reasons my head is one piece.

Mattering to others keeps you tethered to this mortal hell….

I can’t kill myself because if other people exist outside of my own cognition and outside of my own life, my death will wreak havoc on those few people I truly love and care for.

If I did not matter at all, I’d hopefully be rid of this painful existence.

As funny as it is to see people make jokes about anxiety over Cory leaving again, those who do feel anxious are completely justified.

I’ve been watching Cory since 2016, and I have been around for pretty much every break. I watched as breaks went from a month, to four months to nine months to a year.

I think Jaws of Life is a GREAT album. Like honestly, it has great lyrics, great sound, great mixing, was vocals and it’s the EASIEST to play on guitar.
