I think some "us against them" billboards would be generally well received. And help reinforce the common ground liberals and conservatives have found. I think we have a real opportunity to generate some level of class consciousness among Americans.

I didn't even know it was a thing most of my life. I'm not posting an explanation, I'm just venting.
I can manage the daydreaming but I'm well into adulthood and the nightmares are still a weekly hassle. It's confusing and disorienting. I frequently wake up unsure if I'm actually awake. I have a lot of "memories" that never actually happened. It's awkward to explain and I feel embarrassed talking about it.
On a regular basis I'll feel like I'm forgetting to talk to someone only to realize a second later that they aren't even a real person. Dreams can be extremely traumatizing and I feel really stupid being effected by them because they're just dreams. I've been "amputated" and "shot to de
Hello, I'm (M39) looking for some people to enjoy this game with.
I really like the game and I'm having a lot of fun solo so far, but I'd like to start running dungeons with a group. The problem is I know how VR lobbies can be. I used to play echo arena and it was nearly impossible to enjoy a game with random people. I can handle different personalities, I actually enjoy meeting new people, but I what I won't handle is immaturity.
I just recently started and I'm only level 10. I don't know a ton about the game but I'd like to see how other is approach it. So if anyone is interested in playing with an actual adult who's going to take the game seriously (but not too seriously), please DM m
I have congenital anosmia so I've never really enjoyed food but I didn't think of it as a chore. I didn't know any better (still don't really) so whatever I was getting from the taste of food was enough. I'm in my late 30s now and my interest in food extends no further than a need that must be met. I pick food based on convenience and nutrition. I eat it in the most efficient way I can, taking into consideration food safety. But more and more lately my relationship with food has shifted from indifferent to almost resentful. There are foods I prefer over others, but liking something and preferring something are two different things.
Has anyone else encountered this?
It's absolutely insane and I don't see how this benefits anyone.
I'm a nurse. I have a family. I'm so fucking busy that the best I can contribute to the cause is helping nurses unionize and educating others when I see an opportunity.
It's not enough.
The motivation to do something about the bastards responsible for the suffering I see everywhere is manifesting as this rage. Every book I read and podcast I listen to only feeds it. It just sits in my chest, eating me from the inside. It feels like I'm having panic attacks but it's not anxiety it's anger.
I can't drug it away, I can't drink it away, I can't smoke it away, and no action I can reasonably take will satisfy it.
Does anyone else have this problem and what do you do about it?
TL:DR my rage
My dad has always been (or appears to be) a loving and kind person but I'm losing him to the far-right. He's a boomer from a rural part of the US so he's exactly the type of person this ideology is meant to target. The reality is he's a product of his social environment and he always has been. However, up until recently he's been able to listen to me when I challenge those views and I thought with enough education he could change. I'm not sure that's the case anymore.
He's watching more and more Fox news. He went from thinking Trump was a joke to believing he's "the greatest president in history". But the part that really dove home that he might be too far gone is when I showed him a post
She regrets picking up the habit.
So I want to preface this by saying this post is not intended to invalidate anyones spirituality or faith. These are my personal thoughts and I'm curious what other nurses think.
Patient outcomes are always my priority regardless of a patient's attitude or thoughts. However, being appreciated for our work does go a long way in making the job more enjoyable and rewarding. Positive feedback is motivating. But something that has always stung is when a patient genuinely thanks God instead of the staff for their improved condition. When a patient's surgery was successful and they say God was guiding the surgeon's hands. Or when they tell me God called me to be a nurse and do his work. If I'm be
A 10-year-old was forced to cross state lines for an abortion after Ohio's ban went into place. The Indiana doctor who helped her will soon be unable to assist others.
news.yahoo.com/10-old-forced-cross-state-0144...So I'm a soulsborne vet and I'm stuck in my ways. While my first From software game was DS1 I really spent a lot of time in DS3. Anri's straight sword build all day every day and I can't seem to break free from that combat style in Elden Ring. I'm well past Godrick and a few field bosses down and even though I've tried many types of weapons and combat styles when the going gets tough I just whip out the standard longsword and kite shield and boom, enemy down.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a straight sword build? I want to keep Square Off but I'm tired of using the same equipment.
