I like TCGs and in my current state in my life crises I wanted to explore FF TCG. But money is tight and I don't want to do the usual thing I used to do where I buy a few booster boxes and starter decks, open a lot, and then hide them all in my closet when I inevitably buy more than I should have. Money is also tighter than it used to be.

But am curious and I love learning new games so I asked AI to help me with balanced decklists so I could buy the singles. After some back and forth I settled on a wind/lightning sky pirates deck from ffxii, a fire/earth fvii deck, a mono water summoner deck, and a mono-ice villains deck. I also asked for a swappable A/B package. So like each deck has a cor

Trying out new styles is expensive, but just curious how other Switch Axe users are playing. What gear do you use? Do you use the same style on all switch axes or mix it up? I'll post my answer in the comments.

Hades 2 secret boss appearance

SpoilerHades 2: Question

So spoiler for the secret boss.

I found the parchment that sent me to elysium to fight big bro. But... why did it show up in EREBUS!?!?! It was literally room like 4 and the fight did not scale at all. His swings did like 60 damage and that's WITH god mode at 50%. Burned through all of my death defiance real quick and eventually lost.

Does the parchment only show up in zone one? Or is there a chance to get it at least in the fields of mourning? Because if I had known, I wouldn't have gotten the boon for casts on ares which basically never hits big bro.

I have a switch 2 and since it came out, I've been playing mario kart world, then some hollow knight, and now am making my way through Hades 2.

Now that I've rolled credits I'm thinking about the next game I'll subsistance game. As a parent, I can play maybe 1 hour a day between bathroom breaks, playing while a kid goes to sleep, etc. And I like pokemon, loved Legends Arceus, disliked SV.

Question 1, if I play after Thanksgiving and start competing online for those mega stones... what did I already miss? Or will I always be able to acquire the megas for delphox?

Question 2: if I can delay this game until I play something else (maybe silksong, or donkey kong bananza), then what's the pro

Post game signposting is weak

SpoilerHades 2: Question

After several dozen nights, I have gotten to the credits. And while I've seen other posts and understand a whiff of what else there is, how to get there remains stubbornly obtuse.

Spoiler for post game content I guess. And yes this is me ranting a bit. It's a great game, mind, just these bits I don't like.

To start, you go to the underground and fight your way to Chronos. Simple enough. Eventually the path to olympus reveals itself, with incantations, and after defeating Chronos it becomes apparent that you need to beat the upstairs boss like 5 times and Chronos like 7 times. Got it.

20 nights later, I did it, got the credits, but where are the Fates? And you have these suspicious gaps in

Wanted to review the Witcher Concert I was able to see recently. https://www.thewitcher.com/us/en/concert

Overall grade: B+.

The good: It's a great concert. The music is on point to the games. The selection of key video game scenes to augment the music was well done. It was also very casual. The merch store had long sleeve shirts, beanies, stein glasses, and some key chains, a mousepad.

The bad: so the Witcher series is a dark world. From literally being dark with so many events happening at night, to figuratively dark with the poverty, monsters, general despair. So the game has a lot of kind-of downer songs to represent Velen, for example, or the deaths of some characters, or some monst
