Given we're talking about an insane transference of wealth, a lot of ordinary, everyday investors, are gonna get rich.

The world's filled with problems, in no small part thanks to the current ruling class. While Billionaires compete to see who can have the biggest yacht, the largest monument to themselves, and greed, the rest of the world is dealing with hunger, environmental catastrophe, and war. I've always believed there's no force on earth stronger than large groups of people coming together under a common cause.

So with that said, I was wondering if we could discuss just what to do with a surplus of income once it's made. I want to help the world in ways beyond just signing a big chec

It's been a hobby for me these past few months to point out, again and again, that Ukraine has an obvious Nazi problem. Namely to say we should stop funneling weapons into a conflict zone. Most liberals on Reddit respond by downvoting, but a few poor souls have become so inundated with propaganda that they'll legitimately try to argue that Ukraine doesn't have any Nazi issue, and that's all "RuZZian Propaganda!"

Given I've spent months beating them over the head with various videos, pictures, and links proving just how serious Ukraine's Nazi issue is, I figured I'd create a thread keeping them in one place for easy reference later. I can't help myself; I love arguing.

As the sub's resident Communist I figured we might as well discuss the recent house resolution to "Denounce the Horrors of Socialism".

Of course, my opinion on The Bill is that I'm honestly shocked more than half-a-dozen Democrats voted nay, and I'm somewhat happy that "my" representative was one of the voices opposing the bill. Overall I'd have to say the bill's passage will largely have no effect. Or maybe even the opposite effect than intended; after all, congress is extremely unpopular right now. From where I'm standing, if a gaggle of arsonists pass a bill condemning fir

Screw It: Spite-Based Avatar Essay

SpoilerThe Way of Water Spoilers

So I saw James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water opening night, and then again a few days ago with some family. I might go see it a third time, too, though maybe with the benefit of taking some completely legal mycelium beforehand. Is there something wrong with me? I mean, yeah, probably. But is there something wrong with me in this regard? I'm inclined to disagree.

Avatar occupies a weird place in our collective, cultural unconscious. Like it was (and still is, with the re-release in theaters leading up to Avatar 2) the highest-grossing film of all time. It briefly caused a renaissance in 3D movies. It was impactful enough that there were

When I was just a young boy, I remember hearing again and again that "You'll get more right-wing as you get older." I had the benefit of having some loving Republican grandparents, even as my parents were stalwart Democrats, and I'd visited the Reagan library a few times. So it's not as if Republicans or Right Wing political thinking was this alien thing I knew nothing about beforehand.

Well, it's Stalin's Birthday today, and the only reason I know that is because contrary to the folk wisdom of getting more Right Wing with age, I've become far more Left-wing. Enough to ideologically categorize myself as a Marxist-Leninist. I'm not alone in this regard, with [young Americans increasingly tur

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted here already, but apparently Donald Trump implied that the constitution could be terminated to make up for the "horrendous fraud" he claims occurred in the 2020 election.

Now hopefully I won't have to point out that the claims that the election was "rigged against him", in the sense of actual fraudulent votes being cast, are completely absurd. However it's interesting enough to see what amounts to the central figurehead of the GOP basically demanding the constitution be thrown in the garbage on his behalf.

Thoughts?

Well this is going to be a weird one.

Am I LGBT? No. Am I a teacher? No. A student? Thankfully, no. Am I even in Michigan? No. However, a certain news article recently came to my attention and my blood is boiling. Long story short, a couple of chucklefucks in Grant, Michigan drove a teenager to tears for daring to win some highschool mural making competition and including, among other things, video game imagery and LGBT symbols.

I made the mistake of listening to the audio. I heard some kid crying. And I heard the self-righteous contempt these absolute ghouls had in their voice for
