The comments under the post indicating possible removal of UDC from the upcoming fold 7 seem to be ranging from "not a big deal for me" to "its a dealbreaker for me". Which of the following camera setups do you prefer for the inner screen of your folding phone?
About a week back, my 10-month old Fold 4 refused to fold open flat. The last time it opened perfectly was on a Saturay evening, and Sunday morning it wont open flat. In that duration, it had never been dropped or exposed to any outer environment (it stayed in my pocket and bedside overnight). The phone kept working fine on both inner and outer screens, and I continued using it that day. Plan was to take it in for repair Monday morning. However, Sunday evening the phone stopped working and it wont even power on.
Handed over this device to samsung authorized repair (only one in malta, europe) and one week later they call me asking to pay euro 770 to replace the broken screen. The phone still

v.redd.it/4v9kuzhsj3ab1My network adapter (intel 6e ax210) doesn't support anything below kernel 5.11 and I don't have a lan connection available to upgrade the kernel post-install. If I can't get 20.04 running (require cuda/cudnn) on my hardware (blade 14) then I'll be lugging around a $2000 paperweight until the next LTS release. 😓
EDIT: Solved! Thanks to multiple commentors in this thread and other useful souls online for guiding me to the correct solution. Basically I performed the following steps to get it working:-
- clean install ubuntu 20.04.3 (download latest build)
- connect android phone via usb and enable usb tethering to share my phone wifi connection with my laptop (thanks u/spxak1)
- installed h
Hi all, my first time posting here, mods please remove if inappropriate.
I'm looking to buy the 3070 version of blade 14 for writing and testing code in python, with medium to heavy usage of the nvidia gpu for frameworks like tensorflow-gpu and pytorch-gpu. While I run most of my heavy-duty and multi-day training sessions on remote server, I have limited accessibility to those, hence requiring a powerful gpu on my native development machine.
How does the blade 14 hold up for lets say a couple of hours of training/any overheating issues? I have never used laptops for training but I need one for portability+power. Also not sure if amd cpu gives rise to any compatibility issues for python li

twitter.com/JordanTeslaTech/status/1418413307...I saw two recent interviews of Yang, one with YangGang creators and other with ABC news. and was so disappointed in how different he acts talking to MSM. The overly excited tone seems slightly fake and for the most part he was dodging questions. He was back to his best when talking to Matt, Paget, etc. where he is serious and sensible and isn't trying to give politically correct answers. I wish he could be the latter version of himself for every interview (just my opinion).
I have been playing with the Keras official example of Fully Supervised Learning vs Supervised Contrastive Learning. As expected, the default implementation on the cifar-10 dataset shows that contrastive pre-training slightly outperforms fully supervised training in testing accuracy.
However, just for curiosity, I added L2 normalization layer before Dense classifier in fully supervised case. This type of normalization is required in contrastive loss calculation but not in cross-entropy loss calculation. However, making just this one change flipped the testing accuracy back in favor of fully supervised learning. Ran it mul
