I'm completing my switch by getting a Macbook and installing Bazzite on my gaming pc (which is also my editing rig).
My primary use would be media consumption, Gsuite, some presentation during lectures and finally 4K video editing for my side gig as a freelance videomaker.
I shoot mostly video for socials on a Sony ZV-E10 and with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I'm kinda torn between these two options, I'm in Italy and the best prices I found are 1920 € for the M4 Pro machine and 1880 € for the M4 with upgrades. Keep also in mind that the M4 base model (16/512) can be purchased for 1550 €.
