Anyone in Australia have the Nuss procedure done? I would love to have a few questions answered: How much did it cost out of pocket/private? (What’s the price range) If you could get it covered by Medicare how did you do it? What was the public system like? Who are some good doctors for this?

Is there a doctor or specialist I could see to get it diagnosed?

One of my pupils is constantly larger than the other. The same eye seems to have more trouble focusing and often goes blurry or tilts inward to be comfortable before readjusting (esotropia). The veins (especially the one heading towards the nose) in this eye seem particularly pronounced and the eye is ‘darker’ than it used to be (I’ve always had very clear eyes, but now they are greyish).

I also have tmj issues and when my jaw clicks on that side I feel pain behind and along this eye. I also feel pain in the ear and around the head sometimes. I’m not certain this is related but I suspect it is. My tmj has been dysfunctional since I was in braces. And since then it has been a kind of tick th

Hi all, just wondering about recommendations for a good FUNCTIONAL orthodontist in Sydney. I had bad orthodontics as a child and they have left me with jaw pain, a narrow airway and breathing issues. I’m looking into palette expansion or bi-maxillary surgery, so far I’ve been to Dr Derek Mahoney, but I have a friend who had his treatment and wasn’t satisfied with the result and relapsed; I’ve also heard from other dentists and airway specialists that he’s not great. Are there any other practitioners who offer MSE in Australia?
