if you are engaged in a pointless flame war, go to the persons profile and find something you genuinely like about them. artwork, capability for compassion, a love for animals, a talent. maybe the redditor is pretty or has a nice deck they built. Find something. It will disarm you first.

Then throw a complete wrench in the conversation with a compliment. Most people are not going to know what to do with that. I just discovered this and will be using it as much as possible. Both flame wars i tried it on stopped cold.

Yall i cannot. Even TUMS..literal calcium tablets are too sweet and make me feel nauseous. Im craving lots of vinegar and salt but sugar borderline repulses me.

customer in there was getting legit gaslit by others for saying they don’t like the beefless bulgogi..other people literally told them it was “user error”. i said the beefless beef bulgogi was like eating a car tire with no sauce because…it is. it’s bad lol. and that i had to toss my package. downvoted lmao. why do these people take our products so seriously lol like our store is not a religion, it’s okay to not like a product , we encourage testing and trying but you don’t have to love every product. really weird stan behavior

it’s 5 weeks for me today and i’m soo emotional i can barely get through my shift!!! i don’t even have anything im upset about. i’m so happy about this pregnancy.. we tried so hard for this baby.. so im not upset about anything. but tears keep coming to my eyes and i feel really weird and hyper but also i just want to lay down??? is this the hormones? i just feel genuinely unstable like i could cry at any moment and im not even having a bad day. i have no energy at all for customers today but i have to summon it from somewhere. i jsut wanna say “none of this matters let me go home”. anyone else???

please don’t eat me alive, i genuinely don’t know. this question is really bothering me today. all my life it feels like we are helpless against the republican party and when they decide some insane law will be passed, we all just have to buckle up because if they want it, it’s going to happen. is this an information bias on my part or are they really this powerful?
