My USA hire test malfunctioned and didn’t let me finish. The USA hire help desk said they sent it to the dev team to review and didn’t have an ETA of when I’d hear back.

That was over a week ago and I’m getting not referred notices because of it.

Any idea of how long or what I should do?

I want to open a HYSA. I know it’s dumb but I’m putting 150k in it. So I have anxiety but also small differences in APY make a bid difference.

Unless anyone has a better idea, I am going to use Cit bank because a friend uses it and it’s one of the highest ones (4%).

Problem is…how do I verify it’s legitimate? I can’t find it on the FDIC website.

First citizen comes up but when you use the CIT url it says “nothing found”.

Help. I have anxiety.

Can someone help me negotiate my salary?

I’ve been a federal employee my whole career until now. We can’t negotiate so I’ve never done this before.

I work in tech. I got an offer for $115k and a 5% bonus. Fully remote.

I currently make $140k flat, but not remote. I’m willing to make less for a job that allows me to work anywhere

How should I go about negotiating to get it a bit closer to what I make now tho?

Is it crazy to ask for $130k? Chatgbt said it is normal to counter with that but it seems like a lot so i just want to make sure.

Anyone have advice on the amount and how to have the conversation?

Industry is tech. I’m mid level.

I signed a job offer 3 weeks ago for a Technical Project Manager role at a small tech company. It had a clear start date, but after I signed, I heard nothing; no onboarding, no background check, no emails, no calls. Just silence.

I’m a federal employee and wasn’t fully committed to the role. I was applying to jobs just in case I got DOGEd. This seemed like an okay option pay wise but I learned at offer time the benefits were poor. Since they went dark, I assumed they weren’t moving forward and didn’t quit my current job.

Then late Friday afternoon, I got a random call from someone at the company saying they expected me Monday at 9 a.m. I panicked and said I’d be there… but I’m not going. I
