Spoilers for the finale

We know that whatever it was threw Meadows into some existential funk for a while. And that Lucas, said something related to Bernard which caused him to lose all faith and want to go outside.

Lucas already knew about the Safeguard before talking to the voice there. It asked him as much before saying that it was giving him the same directive it gave others. And that if he told anyone - insta-safeguard.

Maybe he told Bernard already? But then why not tell Juliette and co too? Maybe he held his tongue until now out of fear. But now that the pipe is blocked, he should be able to talk about it?

I was thinking about this in a quality discussion on another post.

To me, the main approaches to quality (upcycling loops) feel a bit like it wasn't the intended way to go about it. But then, I couldn't ever figure out the intended way. I could imagine someone putting quality modules all throughout their factory and essentially having like, 5 different versions of the factory and then shuttling upgraded materials to the higher ones as needed. But I haven't seen anyone do this and I'm guessing it's because it just ends up a crazy mess.

But it had me thinking - wouldn't a big change that would enable a whole different approach to quality just be to allow higher quality ingredients to be

I'm at my wits' end daddit. My son has been getting into trouble for months over pushing/hitting at daycare. These incidents usually center around toy/territory possessiveness (e.g. pulling a kid off of a tricycle he decided was 'his', pushing someone trying to get into 'his' play house). It's getting to the point where he is being sent home in the middle of the day when an incident occurs. We just had a daughter last week, so this is getting to be very stressful, and I'm concerned if we can't nip this in the bud in the next month or two, he's going to get kicked out of the daycare (and we really can't afford a full-time nanny instead).

I'm feeling frustrated over the ineffectiveness of

I like a lot of things about the distribution but, and it's hard to describe exactly, it just makes everything feel visually noisy. Like as I'm typing there are panes flickering in and out of existence and diagnostics and it's just all a bit distracting. Did anyone else feel the same way and does anyone have any tips on settings to tune to help this?

Usually when I play hydra/lurker/viper I end up with an excess of minerals. I think this makes sense given that lurkers cost nearly even minerals+gas and hydras are still 100/50 min/gas, but then I'm wondering what the best usage of the extra minerals is?

I made use of some ling harassment, but it wasn't as strong because I didn't have melee upgrades - would it be recommended to get melee upgrades as well in this composition for this specific reason? Or should I just go all-in with static D on all my bases?

I just got an email saying I could trade in my Pixel 9 Pro XL for $600 and then that there was also a $450 discount for upgrading while on a Fi plan. If those stack...it's basically almost the entire cost of a pixel 10 pro XL. But maybe there's some fine print somewhere to where only one of these deals applies (and I just haven't found it yet). Wondering if people know?

I'm fitting a linear mixed model with lmer (R) using a formula like:

~ donor + condition + (1 | well)

There are two donors crossed with two conditions. Each donor x condition combo has 8 wells (so 32 wells total). Each well has a few hundred observations.

I'm getting an isSingular error when fitting the model and the random effects well intercept variance estimate collapses to 0. Feels like there should be plenty of degrees of freedom here, though? Am I misunderstanding something?

I'm curious how far people are able to get into the NG+ iterations! I'm playing a NG+4 Warlock currently and while I'm positive I can get to NG+5 I'm not sure if I'll progress beyond that.

Looking at how stats progress, it seems like theres approximately 100 armor penalty and 50 resistance penalty for each NG+ level. Since it only gets you 5 lvls/ilvls for each one, it seems like it's inevitable that this will outpace any ability to compensate, leading to a natural 'end' somewhere in the NG+6/7 range where these penalties just get too much. I'm I reading this correctly or are people able to progress beyond that through some other strategy?
