I will sadly miss this years deployments and so I am scouring YouTube for DJs that scratch this particular itch. Let’s assume we can coordinate the lighting in advance… Who do you think would be a good addition, that would respect the format but bring some fresh flavor?

I am a casual observer of politics, so I don’t know what I don’t know regarding past elections. But it seems like the general consensus is that there was no widespread election fraud in the 2020 or 2024 US elections. Now here we are again in 2026 and five months out from the midterms, claims of fraud are already being made.

Setting aside whether an in-office administration would prosecute its own supporters for such false claims, does the government have the power/right/standing to pursue actors who make baseless claims against it? Should individuals who make or spread such accusations without evidence be considered criminals, or the acts considered treasonous?

Starting off by assuming players will play the right tees for themselves , I’m curious if there’s a general rule to course design covering the general length and layout of the collection of holes. I love courses that present a serious benefit (if not an advantage) to tee shots other than driver over and over. Has this been formally set out by any designers at some point?

Example, breaking up 18 holes, you might have:
4 x Par 3: shouldn’t ever require a driver. One shot onto the green.
4 x Par 5: driver is always an option and longer is always better.
4 x Long Par 4: executing a good drive is a must, but the challenge is the hole length rather than its design/features
2 x Curvy

I'm a big fan of band collar shirts, button-downs and polos both. They are just the right mix of casual and formal. Trouble is finding ones that fit. I've tried Uniqlo before (too short, boxy) and some random finds at Nordstrom Rack that didn't last long. Would love to stock up!

Just grabbed a couple of close-out long-sleeves on American Tall. Any other tall-centered brands do band collars? Especially short-sleeve?

I work in commercial (i.e. B2B) finance and in that world, a lower-risk borrower generally can secure debt for the lowest available interest rate the market will offer. Banks often are just competing on fees and supplemental products/services to make their profit.

Wife and I are relocating from Colorado to Illinois and, as far as I can tell, appear to be very low-risk borrowers. Both of us have credit scores around 800, only debt (other than Colorado mortgage) is her student loans. Never missed a CC or car payment.

We're working with a lender we have used in the past, shopping for SF homes and working through pre-qualification process. We're looking at putting 10% down and will stay un

I'm in the process of relocating cross-country (USA) and unfortunately don't expect to have a woodshop at my new home. I'm working on a system with 8 Keystones and 4 midbass cabinets, and I can do the assembly & finishing in my garage, but just getting the panels cut and prepped is something I'm interesting in paying for.

Those of you that have batch-produced cabinets off of a cut list, how have you done it? Have you hired a shop with a CNC to do the cutting? If so, how did you find one? Thanks!

I'm ready for the next iteration of my sound system. Currently using single 18" reflex cabinets as a bass cabinet/kick bin from about 100-800hz and unsurprisingly the lower midrange is muddy. I tend towards the 'HiFi' aesthetic and strongly prefer a direct radiating driver for the upper end of this band, so I've ruled out the typical folded horn designs for kicks.

I've landed on creating something like an Altec 816 or JBL 4560, although probably in a twin-driver setup. I'm trying to decide whether to use 12" or 10" (or even 8") drivers, and whether I can get away with sealed driver chambers rather than the usual ported. These cabinets will cross to Keystone subwoofers and so I really do

Curious if anyone here has used a coaxial driver setup for a top? I know and love the MEH/Unity horn concept & sound, but the build complexity can be intimidating. A coaxial driver (compression driver mounted behind/within a traditional woofer on a shared axis) would seem to accomplish the same point-source objective. Why isn't this more common?

Has anyone here had their own tracks pressed/cut into vinyl recently, specifically for DJ use? Seems like traditional dubplates are going extinct but services like Vinylify can cut up to 20 mins per side. Kind of pricey at $100 a pop… anyone tried this, and how was the sound quality?

Hi there - I'm the CFO of a small 30-ish employee design company. We previously had an HR director who left for a larger role. In hindsight it seems clear that they were underutilized as a full-time HR person for us, but now we have gaps and I'm looking for ways to fill.

I am currently processing payroll every other week (we use Paylocity), which I can continue to do. What we specifically need is someone to:

  • Manage 2-3 departures and/or hirings per year for a variety of roles
  • Compliance related tasks
  • Be the 'HR presence' when needed (does not have to be on-site)
  • Oversee other people-related items that I'm not thinking of

To me this seems like a part time role, and could easily be

Looking for something like Zero Sievert or Night Raider, but with a squad. Said another way, a more open-ended/open world version of Jagged Alliance 3. I want to manage a small team, take them on missions, gather stuff and come back, level up, do some crafting & trading, repeat. Base building is a plus. Prefer gun-based combat, not really into fantasy or medieval as much.

I have a hunch that there’s a flavor of Rimworld that does this, if so please point me to it. I tried Rimworld once and just couldn’t get into it but willing to try again.

Anything like this out there?
