So I currently have a bike with Claris drivetrain, and cracked a rim on my most recent tour. I'm planning to replace with a 36 spoke rear wheel to avoid any problems in the future because I often load up quite heavy. I also want to upgrade to 10 speed GRX in the future so I'm looking for a hub that is compatible with both cassettes. It seems like the Shimano XT HB-M756-A hub will work for both cassettes to me, is that true?
Also how do I know what length spokes I need?

Has anyone used the bontrager handlebar bag? Seems like if it isn't packed completely full it hangs so low it rubs the tire.
