Hi all, I'm trying to find a monitor that'll work with a range of framerates as I jump between them with different projects.

I was at a post house and they seem to be using TV's for 24/23.976 stuff compared to the normally supported 50i/25p. I tried googling but it's not really advertised what they support.

Do I need to spend loads on a professional monitor to make it work? I just want to make my sit in edits a bit less...crap

Hi all, i've been editing a feature for the past 3 weeks and today i sent off the rough cut to the director. The audio quality isn't great and was all recorded directly onto the camera, but judging by the budget i wasn't expecting anything amazing. In his replied he sent me a link to a load of audio files saying that he didn't realise i would need the sound recorded on a mix pre before finishing the rough cut.

I've already subclipped and transcoded everything, what would be the easiest way to rectify this? Or will i just have to go through syncing all the rushes and re-adding it to the sequence. I'm using a Avid Media Composer and being paid for the finished product rather than hourly.
