I have a v1 ender3 from 2018, heated bed. I haven't used it for ages but I remember it wasn't too bad but lots of room for improvement.

Thinking of printing miniatures and looking into what I can do to get it up to the job.

So far I have on the list:

• klipper (I have a rp zero already)
• dual 5015 fans for the head
• all metal hot end
• direct drive extruder
• 0.2mm nozzle
• linear rails
• dual. Z axis leadscrew

Not massively expensive mods, but at this point, should I just get a new printer? Or will the final ender3 result actually be pretty good?

Anyone finding that forger 4 can't apply mods onto the new version? Any tips?

The ridiculous nanny state laws seem to have ruined almost all prospects here. Everything I look up has already been banned.

If you know of any good ones that are still available in Australia or can legally be imported, please share!
