Hi guys,
I’m planning to join MS General Surgery or MS Orthopaedics in a private medical college in UP or Tamil Nadu.
I wanted to know what the workload is actually like in private medical colleges. How many hours of duty do residents usually have per day? How often do you have 24-hour or longer duties?
Also, does the workload decrease in private medical colleges compared to government medical colleges, or is Surgery/Ortho equally hectic in private colleges?
Would really appreciate it if current or recent residents could share their experience. Thanks!
