Looking to road trip in Colorado and have tentatively dated this to either 2- 5 July ot 3-6 July, it's midweek for most of it, but I am concerned if the traffic is going to be a problem because of independence Day. I am good to just travel and enjoy the scenery.

Is it time to start talking about a contract extension for Sam Darnold? Would it be cheaper now than at year's end? Or would it be too big a risk this early?

I frequently see automated routings between Billings, MT and Rapid City, SD using US Hwy 212 rather than I-90, which is only about 10 minutes quicker. Is there anything along 212 that would make it more interesting than 90?

Hey! McLeod Bethel -Thompson is still playing for the Edmonton Elks. We could sign him(for the third time) to the practice squad.

It was a three day 1500 mile trip for us, and while there was much driving, we managed a few brief stops; Riverside, IA (future birthplace of James T. Kirk), Cahokia World Heritage Site, St Louis Arch, Lincoln's tomb, and The World's Largest Trucks top.

Where did you guys stop.

Just curious having recently seen the wonder of the eclipse in the US, is there any mention of an eclipse (or anything similar) in the legendarium?

We shared our field with a couple of turkey vultures making occasional passes above us before gliding on. A few minutes before totality, when the temperature was cooler and the sun dimmer, one gave up on the days' hunting, crossed the field low and slow and found a place to roost for the night in the trees at the far end

About five 5⃣ minutes after the sun came back, and I assume highly confused, he took off from his perch to resume his hunting in the new day.

Anyone else have interesting eclipse animal stories?
