Hey Folks, been lurking on this sub for a bit and finally landed a used 7090 SFF with the i5-11500, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. I plan to use this to just tinker around and explore Docker, Plex, Home Assistant, storage type stuff.

I'm curious what the options are for upgrading. What's throwing me off is I don't understand the compatibility of the various Optiplex SFF models. Does anyone have a source that can help explain what upgrades are compatible to which models?

The box the optiplex arrived in was beat up and I noticed the fan halves were partially separated so I snapped it back together at the attachment points. Are these fans typically noisy or was it possibly damaged?

Hey folks, looking for some help understanding a circuit so I can install an Eve Light Switch. This circuit contains three way switches downstairs and upstairs which control two separate overhead lights in the stairway. The upstairs switch is in a two gang box with another three way switch that controls overhead lights in the upstairs hallway.

Initially I was hoping to install the Eve switch downstairs but looking at the Eve instructions and the existing wiring I'm not sure that I can. This switch has a ground, red, black, and white wire. The Eve switch requires a neutral to function

Someone local is selling the following used speakers for $350:

Hey Everyone,

My vinyl shutters are falling off due to age/high wind. Half the hole locations are held by those standard shutter lock fasteners with the barbs, no problem finding those... the other half I'm unsure of what fastener type to install as there's threaded inserts behind the shutters in these areas (mostly all near the window side). I was able to find part of a fastener/pin that had broken off inside an insert, anyone have any idea what these are and where to find them?

So with ESPN taking over the NHL from NBC this replaced NHL.TV/Center Ice with ESPN+ subscription. Prior years I was able to watch any NHL game out of market (including every Pens game, the reason I got it). With ESPN+ the schedule has a small fraction of Pens games that will be available.

Am I missing something or is ESPN fucking us from watching games?

E: after the long wait looks like I’ll be getting game 2 out of market! So their schedule and support staff were wrong, fortunately.

Anyone know who sings the ending sample to Never Ending Game - But Not for Me?

I realize the song name is But Not for Me but looking for who specifically sings that version on the track. The 18 or so listed off Wikipedia didn't sound similar.
