I’m here for the next 5 days and would love to find places with friendly faces and a mixture of English and Japanese language. I plan on going to the 10 am language exchange meetup group tomorrow morning but I thought I’d see if anyone had any good recommmendations on Reddit.

I’m an American traveling alone and have one more night here. Feeling a little shaken up from this mornings earthquake and wouldn’t mind just chatting with someone over a dinner and beer.

A little about me. 40 year old male — married and not looking for anything other than a friendly face and chat.

Thanks and apologies if this isn’t the right place to post.

I’d like to see if I can get a gate pass tonight to meet an international friend that doesn’t speak the best English but their flight gets in late and I wasn’t sure if tsa would even be open that late. Anyone know when it shuts down for the night?

I haven't lived in Peoria for like 15 years now and am flying home for Christmas but unfortunately my flight doesn't get in until midnight. I'd rather not inconvenience any friends or family if I don't have to and was curious how reliable any of the three services are that time of day if I were to arrange ahead?

Thanks!

We’re going with 12 bones as our main caterer for our wedding next month and unfortunately they don’t offer delivery. Anyone have any recommendations for the best way to get the food out there? We don’t need staff and we could ask our local friends or neighbors around here to pick it up but that most likely means they’d have to pick up the food right around the time of the ceremony.

Any businesses out there that would be willing to grab it and deliver it to our venue (about 30 minutes away from 12 bones south)

Thanks for any and all recommendations and ideas!

My partner and I are looking for someone to help us keep track of what tasks need to be done on the day of our wedding and ease the burden on both of us. We have plenty of friends and family that we can delegate tasks to - but it would be nice to have someone manage and oversee that all.

Any recommendations or good experiences with people?

I've been experimenting with Master and Legend after getting comfortable on Pro and was curious what the best way is to tell how much wind speed there is?

I see that there is a "white filling" in the wind arrow but it always seems to be half full regardless of speed. Am I missing something? Is it kind of just hit a test shot and see how it went and go from there?

Thanks for any help!

I've had my storm debris out on my curb now for almost a month and a half and I'm curious if and when the city is going to pick it up. I feel like I've only seen a picker truck come out here once but it was full and it's never come back again that I saw.

Do I need to call or tell somebody at the city explicitly that it needs picking up? I figured it would happen eventually but I'm curious if anyone else has had any luck.
