I'm hosting a party next month and I'm planning to make a big batch of discada Norteña for everyone. I've got the comal and a burner, but I've never done this before so I'm not entirely sure where to begin.
Does anyone with experience have something resembling a recipe? I know the technique is pretty straightforward, but I'm at a loss as to which cuts of meat and which proportions of each meat to use.
Also if anyone has any tips or tricks for cooking discada I'm all ears!
I've carried a 1911 of some kind at about 3:30-4 o' clock for years but I just recently tried a Commander sized 2011 AIWB and it seems like it could work for me with the right holster. But there's so many options!
The majority of my 1911s are government length so I'd like to get a holster, ideally with some sort of wing, to carry AIWB. Anyone who carries this way have a recommended holster?
I've recently come to the conclusion that I want an optic on at least one of my carry 1911s, ideally I'd like a lightweight Commander size with no rail for under $2k, but I know that's kind of a tall order
Seems like Springfield might be my best option but I don't know which one to get. I currently have an Emissary that's too heavy and bulky to carry IWB, the Ronin is an option, I like the bobtail grip of the TRP but it has a rail which I don't want. Dan Wesson might also work, but it seems like optic cut models are hard to find and add a lot of cost. Anyone else got suggestions?
I have a Cougar 8000 that I'd like to improve, it seems like there should be some parts compatibility with the 92 series, but I'm a total noob here so I don't know if that's the case.
Does anyone have any knowledge here? Can I do simple stuff like switch out the hammer spring, maybe add a Wilson mag guide, etc? Are there trigger group parts that can work as well?
I recently tried kettlebell swings at home and discovered that not only is it much harder than it looks, but also I'm incredibly weak and my joints are shockingly inflexible 😆
I'm 44M and this week I did a decent push-up for the first time in my life after watching a single YouTube video. Growing up in the 80s fitness was for sports, and since I wasn't in sports no I've ever bothered to really teach me anything other than "run more, fatty"
Googling "personal trainer" just gives me places like BFit, I'm not looking for a named program like CrossFit or HIIT, I would love to have a low-key trainer who can show and tell me exactly how to lift properly before I injure myself with blind enthusi
I'm looking for something like a Milt Sparks level of quality but that I can just order like normal and not have to wait nearly a year to get it. Bonus if it doesn't cost a billion dollars 😆
