The VVE changed the rules and now garages can only be sold along with the apartment that they are bundled with, but before the rule change the people that used to own our apartment sold their garage to one of the other owners in the complex. I am now in the process of buying that garage back. It is not physically attached to the unit but is part of the complex.

The issue is that the apartment is just in my partner's name and I would like the garage to also be in his name just for clarity of title which would make it part of the apartment. But if I use my funds to buy it, would that be considered a gift to him and be taxable as a gift? Or is it a household expense? What if I put both our na

Scent of the day - Sacred by Louis Cardin

Discussion :snoo_feelsgoodman::doge:

I'm sampling this scent because it was thrown in as a freebie when I ordered a bunch of decants. I didn't have high hopes for it because the paper sniff test was meh. But then on my skin, after just a minute or two of a strong ambery opening, it morphed into a warm, sweet, chocolatey, vanilla, caramel gourmand with some depth from spices, musks, woods, and balsamic notes. My partner immediately said he liked it, as well. It reminds me a little of Choco Musk but much longer lasting. Anyway, recommend! For a cheapie it's really lovely and has great longevity. The projection is good but not obnoxious. I will be looking for a full bottle to start wearing regularly in fall and winter. [Fragrantic

After getting what I needed I was sniffing the goods in the perfume section and was very surpised to smell three perfumes priced under €20 by House of Thêom that are pretty darn good dupes for three I own:

Heaven's Reserve, dupe of Angels' Share.

Midnight Cherry, dupe of Lost Cherry

Endless Love, dupe of Love Don't Be Shy

And I guess there's a one called Royal Affaire that's a dupe for Althaïr and another called Epic Elegance that's dupe for F*cking Fabulous, but I don't know the originals so I can't comment as their accuracy.

Fragrantica reviews are generally positive. Anyone here that can attest to their performance and especially longevity?

No first class for me, and I will be flying alone. I'll be up close and personal with my fellow passengers. I thought about not wearing a scent at all, but I'd rather they think "She smells nice" rather than "She smells like it's been a long day in the same clothes". Obviously I want something that whispers rather than shouts, but longevity would be great. I was thinking Hermes Jardin sur la Nil but I'd be willing to buy something new. Anyone have thoughts or experiences?
