I'm not sure how much longer I can take this.

Relationship / Communication Issues

I, 45 m I've been married for almost 20 years to my wife 44 f. And, the infrequency of intimacy is destroying my marriage. It wasn't a dramatic plunge into this state but it's been 10 years of slowly turning off the tap. I would consider myself to have a normal libido for a man. Sure we always say we could have sex everyday but, I would be totally satisfied with two times a week at least with some regularity. Now we're about once a month, and my wife tends to act like she's doing me a favor when that does happen. I understand we're both busy for the last 4 years I had a job that kept me away from home for a few days at a time every week and then I would be home for a long stretch usually aro

44-year-old male diagnosed within the last 5 years as low level ASD.

I have a disconnect between what I'm told I should be like and what I really am like. This primarily comes into play with social interactions. I've been told that people with ASD are not good at picking up ques and social norms, on the surface level this is definitely true for me and frustrating to say the least. However, I feel that I am actually very good at picking up true motivations of people. Oftentimes things they're not willing to fully acknowledge within themselves. When given time to take a step back and analyze something I can often see what I feel are deeper proves of people's motivations. Almost as if most pe

I'm at my wits end.

HL Seeking Advice

I don't know if I would even qualify as high libido, I'm 44 years old and I've been married for almost 20 years. When I was in my '20s, I would have been satisfied with probably three times a week when it comes to intimacy, now I'd be okay with once to twice a week. The problem has been decreasing frequency over the last 15 years, really ever since our child was born. I've had this discussion with my wife so many times that I can't count and it never seems to get better. Now, we're also dealing with both of us getting older, I'm willing to admit I'm not as virile as I was in my twenties, but she's going through perimenopause. I fully understand that hormonal changes are tough and I'm willing

I'll go first. Shittily!

I know this is a stressful time for everyone but I just absolutely despise the Christmas season. I love the holiday in and of itself, I'm a religious person so I deeply care about that aspect but it's all the extraneous stuff that just gets me every year.

I don't know why but I just get this overwhelming feeling of panic anytime I'm in a public space around this time of year. It's like I can feel everyone's collective anxiety and it's just overpowering, it's like a background hum that's just getting louder and louder. Stores that are way too full with people milling about at really unfortunate times of the day, shitty pop Christmas music blaring through the speak

Lack of intimacy changing how I see my spouse.

Relationship / Communication Issues

Long story short, married since 2007. Frequency started going down not long after the birth of our child, who is now 15 years old. It wasn't a immediate shut off but a slow decrease. What used to be three times a week is now once every couple of weeks. In fairness I travel for work so our schedules are not as open as they used to be, and that has definitely hurt things.

And, for full disclosure my wife is currently going through perimenopause which I know causes issues. However, if this had been a sudden change I almost would be more forgiving than the slow gradual decrease that we've experienced.

It's getting to the point where I don't even want to try to initiate intimacy anymore. I've

I was watching a lore video just this evening and they were talking about the process of biotransference that the necrontir went through. Now from the little bit of understanding I have the C'tan are being purely of the material universe, so how were they able to feed off of the soul energy from biotransference? If the soul and 40K is natively warp related they shouldn't have had any access to it.

Ok, looking for the general consensus regarding this. My wife states she "can't" eat leftovers more than a day or so. But I was raised to eat the food because it's essentially throwing money away. I'll gladly eat the same meal for multiple days. I meal prep because I also have celiac disease (yay), so I invariably have copy/paste meals.

How's everyone here with the idea of eating the same thing over and over again?

I'm working on the first assignment our priest gave me in reading the catechism. I've been scratching down notes each day and part of my goal is to understand the history of the words that are used. I feel that we've lost definitions through translation and words are used together that may not have the original meaning.

One particular word I've been focusing on is love. So what I can gather from the original Greek is that the love of God to man is based off of the word agape, which is from my understanding, basically a infinite form of parental love. Is there any translation that you know of that would more precisely define the love that humanity needs to have to God? And don't take this w

Sitting here in the parking lot of our church getting ready to meet with our priest for the first time. We've been going here about 2 years and I think it's finally time to start taking some definitive steps. I'm so nervous and I can't really pinpoint why.

Placebo effect?

New to NoFap

Mid 40s, been doing it daily since early teens. Wanted to try this out. Six days in and my anxiety/ irritability is decreased noticably. Much less in my head. Hopefully not a placebo.
