Hello Dear Moms (to be),

I have chosen a donor and I hope to conceive 2 children out of the straws I bought. I have purchased 9 straws but I have to do unmedicated IUI’s in my country before I am allowed to move to IVF.

Now I am a bit worried that I won’t have enough for two children in the case that my IUI’s don’t work. Other woman had to do 9 IUI’s (in my country) which I find odd because of the low success rates, it is def something I will discuss with my fertility doctor because these straws cost me a lot of money already. Also my chosen donor is out of stock right now.

Also there a big indicators that I have pcos, on my scan I had 18 follikels on one side and one mature egg.

Hoi lieve mama’s (in spé),

I am almost 33 and located in Northwest Europe.

IUI succes?

Question

Hello beautiful mothers (to be),

I am currently in the proces of working with a clinic to become a SMBC. Since I am still relatively young (33) I expect that I have to start with IUI. I am not a huge fan because succes rates are not that great. So I would love to hear experiences from other woman:

- Did you have succes wit IUI, after how many attempts and which MOT straw?
- How many IUI’s did you have to do before the clinic was willing to move to IVF/ICSI?

I would love to hear experiences.
Thank you in advance!!
