we ordered an OMTech Max-750 (100W CO₂ laser) and unfortunately made a mistake with the dimensions – we mixed up the measurements....

Now we’ve realized that the machine won’t fit through the door in its normal upright position.

Would it be possible to carefully lay the Max-750 on its side just for a few minutes to get it through the door and then immediately put it upright again?

We're looking to get a laser cutter for our school and were hoping to get some real-world recommendations here.

Key details:

• Budget: around €3500, including a filter/fume extraction
• Main use: mostly plywood and paper, occasionally acrylic
• Important: easy to operate, since students (with guidance) will be using it too
• Safety is a top priority – enclosed housing, safety shutoff, etc. should be standard
• Nice to have: a camera for material positioning (saves time on alignment and is really practical in a school setting)

Does anyone have experience with machines in this price range that have held up well in a school environment? We're open to both diode lasers and C

Ich habe mir kürzlich einen Neuwagen gekauft, der in der Versicherung recht teuer ist. Bisher lief mein Auto über meinen Vater und wurde mit der Schadenfreiheitsklasse SF22 versichert, was ich grundsätzlich auch weiterhin so handhaben würde.

Zusätzlich hat mein Vater noch ein weiteres Fahrzeug, das mit SF48 versichert ist. Beide Fahrzeuge sind jedoch bei unterschiedlichen Versicherungsunternehmen versichert.

Nun meine Frage:

Ist es möglich, die Schadenfreiheitsklassen zwischen den beiden Fahrzeugen zu „tauschen“, sodass das teurere Fahrzeug von der höheren SF-Klasse profitiert? Oder würde man dabei Schadenfreiheitsj

ich brauche mal euren Rat.

Ich fahre einen Passat B6 Variant 1.9TDI 105 PS mit knapp 280.000 km. Ich mag das Auto sehr, er fährt sich gut und hat noch 1,5 Jahre TÜV. Viele Verschleißteile sind in den letzten Jahren neu gekommen.

Jetzt das Problem:

• ZMS + Kupplung sind hinüber
• Gestern hat sich auf der A7 in den Kasseler Bergen der Turbolader verabschiedet → richtige Nebelwand, gefühlt halb Kassel im Qualm 🙈

Die Ersatzteile kosten zusammen ca. 1.100 €. Ich habe eine günstige Werkstatt, die den Einbau für 500 € machen würde.

Jetzt frage ich mich: Lohnt sich das noch?
Einerseits läuft der Wagen sonst echt super und ich hänge dran.

I'm planning to build a small NAS for Plex, backups, and Home Assistant. I came across these Pocket NAS devices with Intel N100, which offer 4 NVMe slots. However, I’d also like to have some SATA ports to connect larger HDDs.

My question: Is there any way to add HDDs to these Pocket NAS devices? Maybe via a USB-to-SATA adapter, PCIe expansion, or another method? Has anyone tried this before?

I'll be spending a lot of time on the couch over the next few weeks as I have a lot of writing to do on my laptop. To keep myself entertained in between, I’m looking for a little side activity.

Initially, I thought about getting FS25, but after reading all the negative reviews, I’m considering if I should just go for the FS22 Premium Edition instead.

I plan to play on an Xbox Series X. In the past, I used to play older FS titles on PC, and mods were super important to me.

Do you think I’d be happy with FS22 PE? Any advice would be appreciated!

Ich bin aktuell sehr zufrieden mit der C24 Bank und überlege deshalb, meine Konten bei der Sparkasse und Raiffeisenbank aufzulösen. Ein Nachbar hat mich jedoch davor gewarnt, da regionale Banken häufig günstigere Konditionen für größere Kredite, wie beispielsweise für den Hausbau, anbieten, wenn man dort langjähriger Kunde ist.

Da wir irgendwann den Wunsch haben, ein Haus zu bauen, frage ich mich, ob dieser Tipp gerechtfertigt ist. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrungen oder Ratschläge dazu?
