Has anyone been able to get this piece of software working on a Linux system (through WINE or other methods)? It's an editor for the presets on a Boss guitar fx switcher, and the last program that's keeping a Windows VM alive on my machine.
WINE throws this error: https://pastebin.com/a6Tp5Q9p

m.gva.be/cnt/dmf20210720_95208860Hey guys, recording some Doom Metal demos with Hydrogen and DrumGizmo because our drummer is depressed. Now I'm hitting a bit of a snag with tempo changes.
Set up is as follows: Ardour is set to external sync with Jack and as Jack sync Master. Hydrogen is set up with Jack Transport activated and Master inactive.
As long as the tempo stays constant, both applications seem to track each other fine, I can hit play in either of them, move the head, etc and they stay in sync. Once I add a tempo change in Ardour though, the entire thing goes tits up, when I move the head past the tempo change in Ardour, it skips to a random spot in Hydrogen. I've tried replicating the tempo changes at the correc
Hello, r/legaladvice. I've been wondering and researching this issue for a while but I can't seem to find any definite information for my specific case.
I am an electronics hobbyist and have been building stuff for myself and close friends for several years now, but I want to start selling devices as well. The things I build are mostly tube guitar amps (internal voltages up to 600VDC) and effects pedals (internal voltages normally up to 24VDC, but some plans for higher voltage tube based pedals are there). The amps are built on turretboards and the pedals are built on PCBs.
Now the problem I have is that getting an accredited
My current setup consists of a Marantz TT2000 hooked up to an MBLE BBO 845 tube amp and some very large home-built speakers. This gear used to belong to my grandfather and has been handed down to me.
In the near future I will be able to acquire one of several different turntables, but I'm not sure whether any of them would qualify as an upgrade. I know the Marantz name carries a lot of weight, but this TT2000 feels rather cheap.

- Garrard Type A - This player is already in my possession, but is c
So my current rig is just a bunch of effects pedals running into a duo of amps. Both of these amps are currently constantly on (no ABY).
Now I've been looking at getting some more flexibility and ease-of-use in my rig by using a loop switcher, but I have what seems to be an annoying demand:
I want to be able to change the order of my pedals on the fly.
An example would be going from one programmed patch with my booster in the front, phaser and delay in the loop; to another patch where I've got a wah in the front and a booster in the loop.
Now I've looked at the Boss ES-8 and the Sound Sculpture Switchblade Switchers and these seem to fit the bill since they can change your chain arou
I've been driving my diesel F21 LCI for a couple of months now without issue, but I recently got a call from a BMW representative telling me that they're doing a recall action. Something about fixing a valve somewhere in the engine that was going to reduce emissions.
I decided to prod a little and asked him if this might be tangentially related to the VW thing and his answer was as follows: "sir, we are BMW, not Volkswagen". I then asked him whether it would lower performance on the engine and all I got was another runaround about how if they don't fix this valve that it could seriously damage the engine.
Has anyone else been contacted by these guys yet?
Here's an album with some pictures. I hope it's OK for me to post an amp build in here.
This was my first large build so the wiring is pretty shoddy overall. I had also not taken into account how short the leads on the small resistors were when i spaced the turret strips, so I had to jury rig those. I'm currently building an amp sleeve for it, putting in external bias measurement points, and trying to figure out how to get a working effects loop in.
The amp itself is based on the ElectricAmp MV120, an amp mostly known for it's sludgy tone. If you like Matt Pike's tone on Sleep's Dopesmoker, you'll probably like this. You could compare it with a vintage Orange/
