Good morning, I just finished my 2 day colonoscopy prep. I had to do 2 days because of gastric paresis. It was rough but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I had one in my 30’s and it was a poor prep due to gastric paresis.

This prep reminded me of the many flares I’ve had with my stomach throughout the years. But the prep was a success this time.
I’m exhausted plus my body & head hurt. I only have 4 & 1/2 hours to go before my colonoscopy/EGD.

Something that I wished more people would talk about is the usage of adult diapers during the prep. Relying on those during this has helped me.

Wish my luck with a proper diagnosis. ❤️

Hi all, I’m in the middle of a really intense workup and I needed to share this with people who might understand. I just got off the phone with my GI doctor and things are finally starting to make sense — but also feel really overwhelming.

My stool tests came back with a lot of blood and white blood cells, which she said is from scabs all throughout my colon — likely from serious inflammation. She made it very clear this isn’t IBS, this isn’t in my head — she told me plainly, “You’re sick.”

I also have pancreatic insufficiency (my elastase was really low), so I’m not absorbing nutrients properly. They are worried about wasting syndrome. They also mentioned possible pancreatitis and even

Let’s analyze this….

I’m currently deep in the diagnostic process for possible IBD, colon cancer, or celiac. I’m having an endoscopy, colonoscopy, a barium swallow, 11 stool samples, and tons of blood work. It’s a lot, but I know how complex these GI conditions can be.

I reached out to an old friend who once told me she had Crohn’s. I hadn’t talked to her in a while, and honestly, I never saw any signs that she was sick or dealing with anything like Crohn’s. I told her about all the tests I’m having, and I asked how she was diagnosed. She said she was diagnosed with just a barium swallow study.

That instantly raised red flags for me. From everything I’ve researched, a barium swallow only

I had no idea it would be this many stool samples for testing for IBD. 11 to be exact.

I feel for all of you.

I’d love to see a body language expert analyze him on camera — now that would be something to watch. He keeps insisting he’s innocent, but if that’s really true, why not take a lie detector test? Just a thought. Personally, I don’t believe his claims at all, but it would definitely make for compelling viewing.

Stephen, if you’re lurking here, consider this a challenge: take a polygraph test and prove your innocence.

Hi everyone, I’m new to the group but have been living with IBS for many years. Over the past three months, my symptoms have gotten so severe that I’ve had to go to the ER twice. My biggest issue is intense diarrhea — sometimes up to 20 times a day — and it’s completely disrupted my life. I can’t go anywhere without worrying about staying near a bathroom.

A recent stool test showed blood, and despite trying everything — diets, medications, fasting, and resting my bowels — nothing has helped.

I have a GI appointment this Thursday and am waiting to be scheduled for a colonoscopy. At this point, I’m starting to wonder if this is actually IBD or something more serious.

Has anyone else experie

Hi everyone. I’m a 50-year-old woman currently going through a pretty serious health scare. I won’t get into the details here, but it’s been a stressful and emotional time. I’m currently waiting for serious testing and results.

The other day, I ran into my neighbor while walking my dog. To give some context—he’s… a bit of an odd one. Sometimes loud and obnoxious, sometimes surprisingly kind. You never really know which version you’ll get.

During a bit of casual small talk, I mentioned that I’ve been sick and that I’m waiting to find out whether or not I have cancer.

His immediate, unfiltered response? He said—out loud—“Good.”

I was stunned. That was his first reaction. He quickly followe

Hello, I’m not diagnosed but highly suspect I may have this disease.

I’m just curious to see how many of you have scattered colonic diverticula?
Multiple granulomas on the spleen?
Distention of the bladder?

I’m waiting for my colonoscopy to be scheduled but I recently had a CT & that’s what it showed. I also have blood in my stool along with severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, & bloating.

Thanks so much for your insight.

Telling us we are going to hell because people won’t send you $ for food or prescriptions is insane. You are a grown adult. Who flat told me on one of your lives that you didn’t need a professional advocate or a social worker. That you were able to work & take care of yourself.
So, why do you need the people on the internet to help & support you? If you can do all of those things.

⭐️You can get a JOB & don’t use the social security card thing because you can obtain a job without a social security card. You can also go to the social security office & have it printed out.

⭐️You have not googled Pharmacy’s near you to call & see how much your prescriptions are. You just expect
