Reference sheet for the Midi note numbers of all the Pads on the SP404 MKII
drive.google.com/file/d/11WnpJj6X8x4BFf4YoYvC...I've been using the novation circuit tracks for a while as a central sequencer and Groovebox for my synths and I'm getting a little tired of it and I want to replace it with something more powerful. Specifically I'm underwhelmed with only being able to sequence 2 external pieces of gear via midi with it, and it's pretty limited in terms of automation of those external devices without cc messages. I also have come to find that I really don't like the internal synth sounds that it can produce, they sound really thin and boring to me.
So I've been looking at a few different options, I'd really like something that can sequence at least 4 pieces of external gear and have some sort of internal so
I'm new to the SP-404 MKII and samplers in general, so sorry if I'm not explaining this well.
I'm practicing creating drum loops from sampled drum breaks. In that process I've had some success getting the sample to loop perfectly, but now I'm having some unexpected behavior when the sample is played with BPM sync on. Here's what I've done:
I sampled in a drum break and set the start and end points so that it loops perfectly for 2 bars at it's "native" tempo, that is the tempo the drummer is actually playing it at.
I went into Pitch/Speed menu and set the "BPM SET" to "MANU" and tapped the temp with "SUB PAD" to dial in that native tempo, which turned out to be just over 102 BPM.

I really enjoyed by the post u/Norishoe wrote last week analyzing the data from the live chatters. I work as a data engineer, so I was inspired to put together a similar dataset and look at it in more ways.
I put together a dataset of every single chat message from the past 50 live streams to visualize in a few different ways.
Here's a link to the dashboard
You'll find a few different dashboards there, which look like little tabs at the top of the view. I really recommend making the dashboard Fullscreen (button on bottom right) when viewing. Also, just a heads up, the dashboards don't rende

I've been practicing This passage for a while now and I can't decide on what the best fingering to use is. I've mostly been playing each measure as 5-1-5-2-1-2-5-5, but I can also see playing it as 5-1-1-2-1-2-5-5. Just curious how others would play it.
Has anyone been in a session with even close to 72 players? It seems like the sessions I get placed in usually have around 20-30 players in them, I've never seen even close to 72.
Anyone else experiencing this?
