When I first switched to Linux, I used PopOS. It worked great for about a year. Then the COSMIC update happened and fucked everything up. Since then I have been distro hopping. I've had this problem across multiple distros and DEs where the screen gets a yellow tint and it keeps swapping between the yellow tint and the proper colors.

Fortunately, I found a video on how to fix the issue. I followed these steps and rebooted with other DEs. Never had the yellow tint again. So no, it's not the monitor its self. (Also have a Nintendo Switch hooked up to it which it has no problems with.)

We are now 2-3 months away from the Global release of Aston Machan, the Super Bestest Girl! (uma.moe's timeline currently estimates her to release between August 30th and September 6th.) So I am here to tell you why you should save for and pull her.

Long story short, Pop OS has gone to shit since Cosmic and I want to switch distros. But I have over 100 GBs in installed games through Steam that I'd rather not have to reinstall.

Can it be done?
