Went yesterday to the Asian Night Market in Georgian Mall parking lot. I was expecting it to be smaller but it had a fair amount of food choices. It is a bit on the expensive side but isn’t nowadays?
Hope people visit it so they come back next year.
Seems that from Downtown to East End there is a power outage.
For those who try to follow the principle of providence, how do you deal with actively pursuing changes to your role in the universe?
context: I am in a job with a boss who is while well-intentioned is overselling and creating unnecessary crunch time. On my readings it seems that one should perform its role with excellence, but for me it seems like a dead end in terms of developing myself.
When does the role should be considered more broad and I should rationally decide it is time to move one to another job? I guess in antiquity people didn’t job hop or changed careers as often as today, so I didn’t encounter passages on my short studies.
I get that my boss actions are not in my con
Weather app marked it as moderate.
First year in Barrie and first time clearing up snow. After it was done I had a very little battery juice left in my snow thrower. Took me about 20 minutes which is good for a a 3-4 car driveway I guess. However, there was no ice and no windrows to make it more difficult.
That is, I think my equipment is underpowered. Through the winter how much worse does it get?
I need to drive my wife for the 6:12 AM Go and my street was not cleaned, not sure if because it is still November.
I have seen conflicting information regarding a floating (detached) deck max size.
Some places mention the usual 107/108 sqft that is the same for gazebos but I saw this site that a non covered deck may be as large as 200sqft without a permit in Barrie:

searching a lot of documents from Barrie I couldn’t find anywhere expliciting the max size.
I was thinking about building a 120 sqft but I don’t want to go through the hassle of going after a permit.

I closed on a home which has an L-shaped dining and living room. One of the inner walls backs to kitchen that my wife is set that she wants to be put down as soon as we have the funds making it so the area integrates with the kitchen. Personally, I find that the wall to be brought down would be the perfect place for the TV but I don't want to completely change the layout once the wall is gone. I am attaching how it looks now with the current furniture that we have from our 1bd apartment, and how it would look after bringing the main wall down.
My concern is the unused space behind the sofa, she would like to add a chair or something but I think the area may be underused. I am looking for
First time home owner and got this kit for 298 canadian dollars
However, all but the cut off tool are 1st gen which I read are considerably weaker on Reddit than the second generation. So, now I second guessing my purchase.
To be fair on my ignorance I didn’t even realize it was the compact kit and I was surprised by the box size. My home is old so there will be all type of work to be done. I am afraid I would find the tools weak and I would hate myself if I had buy the same tools in a full size version. I didn’t even get the keys to place yet s
