I bought my sweet baby 980ti in 2013, as they started to make way for the 1000 series card. Some 11 years later of absolutely rock solid performance, it’s starting to give up the ghost. Monitors go black for a couple seconds and I’m having to scale back graphic settings to maintain 60fps.
I have about $900AUD which is about $600 USD and would love to buy another card that can last me a while. I’ve been looking at used 3080/ti cards but apparently the power usage is huge? Are there any other nvidia cards I can consider? The 4070 perhaps?
Other details: I have a gsync 1440p monitor at 144hz and don’t play games released the last two years.
I’d really appreciate others’ input into GPUs as
I bought one of those g-mouse gps usb antennae as i wanted to track my locations while travelling for work, which involves a lot of inspections .
After fidelling with installing the correct drivers etc, i was able to get QGIS to map my location in real time, which was great.
My quesiton is, is it possible to save the GPS information from the GPS feed via points, eg 1 point per second that contains lat, long, speed, bearing etc?
I can see that things like satelitte count, speed etc is available and being displayed in QGIS' hud, and i can see an option forQGIS to automatically add points to a layer that's in edit mode however i can't figure out why it's not working. Has anyone done this
I have two 27" monitors in my office, one is 4k resolution and one is QHD (2k? 1440p).
WHile i prefer to use the 4k monitor, mapping tiles dont seem to laod properly on it. has anyone else experienced this issue?
Just curious if anyone has had any experience in recovering a bricked Cam. My V3 received an update recently, after which it was no longer responsive. I followed various instructions to try and reset to factory conditions but no luck.
Can I load a firmware onto an SD card maybe? Pretty frustrated that I can no longer use the camera, especially with baby #2 almost here.
Hi all. I'm really struggling to understand how Flow uses Array variables and can't find any examples to help me out.
I want to be able to save certain email attachments to a location, based on the attachment's file name. I have a flow that:
- Checks if a new email has 1 or more attachments
- Creates an Array variable
- Adds each attachment's file name to it
- For each item in the array, check to see if it contains certain text
- if it does, save it somewhere.
items 1 to 3 are sorted, however i cannot work out how to pass items from an array to the IF statement; instead i'm passing the array as an object which is failing as the IF CONTAINS statement is expecting a string (aka the ar
I've come to rely quite heavily on SQL's ability to apply an ordered rank to bins of data with relative ease, by using PARTITION BY ORDER BY. Be it ROW_NUMBER(), DENSE_RANK() etc, with one line i can establish an order to something whcih then becomes a powerful means of filtering my data when loaded into Power BI.
I've always been curious if there is a way to do this in Power BI natively? I find myself teaching others at work how to use Power BI, who don't have access or knowledge to write SQL, so then I end up writing them something to then import.
For example, determine the latest date something was inspected, per asset. in SQL, I'd write
`(DENSE_RANK() OVER (PARTITION BY [the thin
