I am having continued pain several months after laparoscopic removal of ovary and cyst. Doc says cyst may have done damage, possibly to gi or nerves. Having scans done soon. Anyone experienced this??

For my cysters that had an ovary removed: how long did you have pain afterwards? Im going in six weeks post oophorectomy, and i still can’t wear anything with a waistband, pain daily, and still limited in my activities. TIA!

I finally had my left ovary and fallopian tube removed almost a week ago after months of pain. The surgical pain is basically gone now, but the exhaustion is UNREAL. Has anyone else experienced this? How long until you could function again? Taking a shower wipes me out for most of the day!

In September I had a 10 cm cyst removed. Ive been having issues ever since, so I went back to my doc. I knew there was significant scarring to the ovary. WELP! Not only was there scarring, he removed most of the ovary, the pain is likely from what little remains trying to function. Nevermind that I SPECIFICALLY told him to remove the ovary in the first place! Now I have to go on the pill (in addition to my iud) for two months, then get a scan. In all likelihood at that point he will take the ovary anyway. So months of pain AND an additional surgery thaf could have been prevented if he had done what I asked in the first place!!!! Looks like imma be down an ovary sometime in the spring

Alright I need your advice. Cystectomy was in the middle of september. Ive been having pain on and off but today i woke up with a fair amount of pain. Is this normal or should i be concerned???

Whenever I am around other people, especially in public around strangers, I feel invisible. I was at the bar with a group of friends, and people that came up to our group talked to everyone except me. Even talking across me or stepping on me and not noticing. It’s hell on your self esteem when not a single person looks at you or talks to you but those you are with will have people approach them. I feel like a background character. Even if I am part of a group, I am not really. Even with my friends or family or coworkers, I am perpetually on the outskirts, and I don’t know why. I am reasonably average looking I think, a little overweight but not horribly. Idk if it’s my body, my expression, m

Students keep dropping my class

Teacher Support &/or Advice

In the last two days, I have had about 5 kids drop my AP class. That’s about 10% of the class. I know its not personal, but having kid after kid ask to leave my class with no warning is really starting to get to me. Anyone else ever deal with this? Its hard not to feel like crap after a week like this.

27 female, white, 220 lbs Chronic knee pain since I was 20 Knee arthoscopy to remove synovial plica last march Surgeon discovered I am knock kneed, about 12 degrees on my bad leg, likely due to a benign bone tumor on my femur. I have a meeting later this month, but I want to know, will this likely need surgical correction? It is significantly impacting my quality of life so something has to be done. I already wear a brace and use crutches as needed
