Took a week off work, after a busy few months handling a big migration. Have spent much of it just catching up on things around the house. This week, my beloved Lightning has :
- Done the normal truck chores. Trash runs, etc.
- Carried a bunch of brush from recent ice storms out to the burn pit.
- Carried a big-ass load of firewood cut from said storm damage, through mud and muck no 2WD would have managed.
- Brought home a huge load of lumber and supplies for an upcoming project.
- Said project will need power and a work surface where neither exist...Sherlock Ohms shall provide.
- Carried my golf clubs in the frunk to a few rounds (once starting a conversation and a chance to brag when
On August 9, the tourist vessel Discovery, which ferries passengers to an offshore sightseeing submarine, sped through Honolulu’s Kewalos Harbor during large swell and ended up stranded on a reef.

Hi All
Having a pretty significant parts/service issue with my new F150 Lightning.
Would rather not go into excessive detail here, just wondering if any techs/engineers follow the sub, and would be willing to let me exchange a few pictures in DMs, and ask a few questions. :)
Thanks in advance!

In the middle of my 9 zillionth re-watch, and this ep popped up this morning.
Arguably one of Lilith's best lines in the whole series, imo.
Yesterday was a bittersweet day for us. We traded our '23 Bolt EV for a '24 Mach-E Premium.
The Bolt was our introduction to EVs.
We came in as complete newbs, with nary a clue. Didn't know how to charge, didn't even know we COULD charge at home > 120V, no clue about charging levels. Charge rate? Whassat?
Learned about conditions that impact range, the giggles of no moving parts when stopped, the unadulterated JOY of instant torque when our little "econo shitbox" would rip a new ass for the diesel coal rollers at the stop lights.
With our Bolt, we became "the EV people" at the golf course, or the grocery store, in the neighborhood...hell, one time even at the local dump!

Hi r/MachE community!
Wife and I just brought home our new 2024 Mach-E Premium (pics coming soon, promise) today. Already own an F-150 Lightning, and this is our 3rd EV (Traded in a '23 Bolt for this one)
So, familiar with EVs, and FordPass app, and such.
2 "silly" questions
1 - We both have FordPass installed. Wife on iPhone, me on Android. FordPass shows home charging location in both apps, and with the car plugged in, both apps know it is charging, know the charge details, current SOC, etc. Only difference is : On Android, FordPass knows it will be charged to 90% by 17:30. Apple FordPass says Charge to 90% by --:-- Any idea?
2 - How the FUCK do we get the "kick to open" to wor
