Looking for some advice on what to do or expect.

Basically my daughter (u10) was smacked with a stick on the head during game play which resulted in a bruise around her head/ear area which did not draw a penalty. Intention is debatable however definitely some training or coaching of the other player is needed.

My kid sat out for the rest of the game/tournament. She complained of headache and dizziness so I took her to the ER and was diagnosed with a concussion. She's been out for a few weeks now and slowly introducing non contact practices now.

I put in a complaint to the governing association on the refs and the player and they are looking to schedule a hearing. They involved both head

Just wanted to add a positive experience around here since this thread is mostly bashing rogers based on bad service.

I had a overseas trip last month and I had days roaming turned off during the majority of the trip but still connected to the cell tower.

I went to a second country and the international sim wasn't working well so I turned on my rogers and roamed like home for 24 hours (so I thought at least)

Bill came and I was charged for 3 days. I looked at the bill and I based on the usage I must have miscalculated the time zone. There was usage on both days

On the third charge, it was 2 days later, with 0.01mb usage

Thinking back, that was around the time I may have accidently t

Hi All,

I tried to do my back brakes, and I did put it in maintenance mode, but totally messed up because I didn't realize my friend pulled off the caliper when I was in the middle of making sure it was on maintenance mode.

Fast forward now. Put everything back together. Killed the caliper. Discovered the ebrake is dead. There is sound but it won't engage 90% of the time. Ok fine, caliper is dead. Got a rebuilt one.

Put everything together. E-brake works only 40% of the time. the rest of the time, the car doesnt think it's pulled hard enough. Only way is to turn off the car, turn it back on and pull it again and then the car will be happy.....but that's not normal. Go in mai

So my buddy and I were working on the rear brakes when I told him ok wait don't pull the caliper off yet. I need to put it in maintenance mode.

Long story short after some miscommunication, the piston is fully extended now and fell off the bolt inside. Nothing leaked however.

I came across this post ...https://www.reddit.com/r/CX5/s/IoZhuS8m0K

Followed it to the T. Got the piston in now, got the new disc and pads in, put everything back together. One thing I noticed is I may have cross threaded? What happens if I did? At some point, the nut that I was turning behind the EPB was turning the piston which I don't think is normal?

Anyways the issue now is sometimes the EPB will keep spin

Hey Reddit,

I'm not a super big car guy, but just looking at my options for reliable SUV options. Currently I have a 2021 cx5 turbo and the lease is ending. I'm considering buying it back as it's been a reliable car. Wife is thinking we take the opportunity to look at other car brands to try something else as it's been out 3rd cx5 so far.

Biggest complaint with the car is lack of cargo space. Otherwise car drives great.

With interest rates being at the 4-5%, it makes it tough to look at new purchase again (I had a 0.99 lease rate). Buy back is around 25k tax in and I'm ready to cash buy it.

Is there any similar car we should be considering or just don't think about it and buy it ba

There's a senior lady waiting for the bus at the south west side of 14/kennedy. However there's no 14th Ave bus today.

I tried to tell her but I don't think she spoke chinew or English . I don't think she's homeless or under duress.

Not sure what else to do to help. Making a post for awareness ...

I applogize in advance if there is a better sub to post this in but I figured with credit cards relating to travel insurance, maybe there are some experts here.

My family booked a trip to Asia for vacation to two destinations for late June for 3 weeks to visit family. Due to the circumstances, we are instead making funeral arrangements requiring my wife to fly back asap. The rest of the family may go or may not depending on circumstances of

She's likely no longer in the mood to go again in June.

I just seeking help or ideas what I can do to cancel the trip in June with minimal cost.

The trip was booked though flightnetwork(I should have booked direct with airline Ugh!), I believe ther

I'm in canada.

So I'm on my third cx5 and the lease end is approaching (2021gt-T)and I need to make a decision. I was originally going to buy it back but I had a low speed fender bender that apparently cost 9k to repair (bumper, hood, headlight, quarter panel, repaint, internals no damage )and insurance is paying for it. They are making me whole again but the resale value will take a hit later down the road. So now should I return it?

At the time, lease rates were 0.99% for my 2021 but looking at a 2025 cx5, looks like if I kept the similar trim, the car will be 10k more and the interest rate in crap @3.65 than when I bought it in 2021. That essentially increases my payment by $120 mor

Something's changed. They've updated something to detect any VPN connection now?

My buddy and I share a Netflix account and looks like it's no longer possible? He would VPN into my router and watch. However anytime he connects , he gets the device not part of household anymore.

I just tested it with my phone as well. If I go on data and VPN into my house, I get the same message.

I also tried connecting to my own WiFi without VPN to my own network, its fine. As soon as I toggle the VPN in my own network, on my own WiFi even, the message shows!

Anyone have a copy of it? I heard it was distributed to some staff yesterday. Can't find anything on the opseu website. I emailed opseu to see if they can provide me a copy. Fingers crossed.

Long story short, my manager is leaving and I will be assuming the role as an acting position.

I'm currently maxed out in my OPSEU job, and with the 9.5% whenever that comes..., if my calculations are right ~ another 7k maybe. Because it's not here yet, the new contact from the MCP role states my "promotional" increase is 3% on my base pay currently ~ which means I would have lose the 6.5% + I'd be taking on more duties. I highly doubt they will re-do the numbers after my job is in full swing and the numbers are adjusted for everyone.

I rejected it and asked what we can do about this. My senior manager did tell me he'll "look into it". I feel its career suicide if I reject it compl
