I recently discovered hydroponics. With relatively easy builds, small amount of water & nutrients & seeds, one can quickly grow food. It can be done indoor as well with grow lights. I've started with a simple 5 gallon bucket using the "kratky" (think it's spelling right) method. I also have a single jar going. One can use recycled milk containers, soda cans etc. Dark containers are best or else you'll develop algae. No electricity needed. I've enclosed pics of mine. I started them about a week & a half ago. I did lose sprouts, but I used 3 different seeds & gave full sun, which was probably too much for the ones I lost. I moved it to a shady area. One can grow leafy greens, fruits, vegetable

Is it appropriate to try to save baby deer after a doe has been struck by a car n has died?

If so, how do you know when it's the right time during gestation? And how long after death?

I think that woman read the room & knew PETA would set their sights on her next. And out of the chimps she had, Chance was her baby so she faked his death & hid him.

Located in Ringwood NJ. Please steer clear from this business!!!

They recently hosted a very problematic dog trainer Augusto DeOliveria aka the dog daddy. Augusto DeOliveria abuses the dogs with inhumane & outdated practices. He triggers (flooding) the dogs until they have an emotional reaction (barking, lunging) & then he seriously yanks them around (yank & crank / helicopering) by a prong collar until they shutdown (learned helplessness).

The untrained eye just sees an aggressive dog in the beginning & a non-reactive dog at the end. But this dog learned nothing positive when this happens. It's also important to note that when you stress a dog out, their cortisol level spikes and when thi

I have 10 birds (cockatiels & a gcc)( emotional support animals) that I've had for over 3 years. I had budgies before that. I've lived in this apt for 4.5 years. I got the budgies after about my 1st month here. The owners were aware of them & had no issue. The owners sold the place. It's been 2 years now that the new (slumlords) took over. I recently needed a repair done & there's a new maintenance worker that did the repair. Well I got a notice to cease saying my 10 birds & my unauthorized dog are not in compliance with my lease.

I moved in with an ESA (another dog) & paid the pet deposit (illegal). Sometime after she passed a got another dog which is now my service dog.
