Hello everyone, thought I’d share my latest and greatest success in my watch repair journey.

I’ve recently come back to this hobby after a few years’ hiatus, with renewed energy, excitement, patience and anger management skills :-) Before this watch I’ve been able to service and repair around five watches (three ladies watches, one soviet automatic and one swiss automatic) as well as a junghans stopwatch, and I’ve learned many valuable skills that I was able to apply to this one, which I’m particularly proud of.

Sharing some thoughts I wrote to an acquaintance who is still very new (and indeed newer than i am) to this whole thing in hopes that it may be of some benefit to you all :)

These past few years have taught me that i still have a lot to learn before i try to "convince" other people, and that you will always be at a disadvantage when you're forced to use other people's platforms, with opposing agendas, to push your own agenda, and that it's more important when we are at such a numerical disadvantage to teach each other and to argue with people that trust us or know us personally, because people who don't know you and see you only through the specific frame of some post or video will make up

Hello all, I am working on a small ladies watch and after assembling & oiling I'm getting very high positional error - dial up & down I get expected figures of ~+-40s but +180s at 12 up and -390s at 6 up. I've cleaned the jewels, swapped the top and bottom incabloc jewels but can't figure it out. Is my balance out of poise? There appears to be no endshake and it looks good at a glance.
