As per title, I'm upgrading from an rtx2080ti and I'm deciding between these two cards.

I'm going to be buying the cards 2nd hand, as 1st hand cards cost too much. I live in Japan, and GPUs are far too expensive.

I have a 1440p monitor, and an AMD R9 5950X CPU. I don't play competitive or many AAA titles. I've recently played FFXIV, Warhammer total war, Monster hunter wilds, Cyberpunk 2077, and then a variety of games around 5 years old or more.

An RT7900xt goes for around 110,000. A rtx4070ti is around 130,000.

Looking at performance, the Radeon card is what I'm looking more at. It's cheaper, better power, and 20g of ram should serve my 1440p monitor better for years to come. The Nvi

Asus Crosshair VIII Formula m2

Product Recommendation

Hi!

I have an old m2 drive which I recently installed to this motherboard. I'm thinking of getting a new, more modern, m2.

The Mobo has 2 slots, I've heard I should put windows into the first slot, and the storage on the second. I'll move my old card over, and install windows fresh to new one, and that should work?

Also, the Mobo has a heat cover that my old one didn't, and new m2s seem to run hot. Should I buy an m2 that comes with its own heat sink, or use the motherboards one? Will the Mobo need some thermal pads? (It's 2nd hand) and if so what size?

I'm currently deciding what m2 to get (my old one is 2400 r/w) and trying to deal with prices and figuring out what's going to work.

As per title. Other details I can remember are

There is something to do with mud (?)

Two kids are a brother and sister.

The other kids is "slow", he becomes a gladiator later on in blood games.

I think there were boats that sailed on a dessert that engaged in proxy wars with unmanned ships?

They were on a boat going down a river st some point.

This is from my childhood and I can't really remember it. Other books I read at the time were Stormbreaker, Amulet of Samarkand, the goblet of fire. So about this era maybe?

Thanks!

As the title says. I'm looking for a headset for my pc and ps5. I don't play any competitive games, and prefer immersion and audio quality. I require a mic for when I occasionally play with friends, so having it detachable is great.

The G Pro X Lightspeed seems to be the best choice for my sub $200 budget.

My Samsung buds+ broke, what do I get now?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable

I really loved the buds, sound quality and fit were really good. But, the part month they slipped out of my hands too often and one bud exploded...

I'm after a successor, bluetooth with my phone, for walking around outside and exercising at the gym. I like a wide variety of music so a good balance is desired.

Honestly, it's probably just get another pair of these, except they're now 250% the price I paid for them 2 years ago...

Edit: budget would be around 10,000-12,000 yen. ($100 American ish)

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a book recommendation. I recently heard a little about the Finnish education system, and would like to learn more about the practicalities of this approach. Things like classroom planning, management, and philosophy etc.

I recently read "between parent and child" by Haim G. Ginott and thought it was fantastic.

Hi all.

Adult getting back into dinosaurs, and looking for a good Spinosaurus model. I really enjoyed the 2021 paper on them by David Hone, and would like a model to mirror the ideas he has raised here.

I've found two models I think reflect this,

The PNSO growth series

And the Schleich model

I was hoping someone better informed than me could give a recommendation. Thanks!

I normally never spend money on mobile apps, because I have a gaming pc and consoles, if I can play it there, I will.

What's a game on mobile, that works best on mobile, teppen is a good example, it's active and you move the cards around with the touch screen.

I'm looking for anything interesting, to play turn based, or slow paced at night, probably with no sound. I'm not looking for ports of games I could just play elsewhere, or moba/gatcha/p2w/clone games that haunt mobile app stores.

What's a game you played and thought "this was made for mobile". Anything from tower defence, to interesting rpgs.

I used to use the sony music app, that lets me access music via folders that I set up using my pc. I haven't managed to find an app since that has no adds, isn't stupidly complicated, and doesn't just have "search file, artist, album" as the only options.

I just want to set up folders and be able to open them in the app.

Cheers!

Hi, I've come back after not playing for about a year, I've about 150 matches back then, and up to around 30 now. I used to run a green growth deck, and now run a red pawpatrol one (only have sun goddess ammy legendary, and just got Yukimura and had axel from before).

I've gotten a lot of crystals because of the specials and having some left over from before, and was wondering what's the best way to use them?

I have enough souls for a legendary (maybe Ken), and enough crystal for maybe 20 packs.

Should I buy more Amaterasu packs to try and get sun goddess, or should I buy Halloween packs to get a variety of cards I don't have yet, and just use souls and save for other cards for my current

I had 2 4gig sticks of ram, in A1 and B1.

I upgraded by buying another 2x8gig, put them into A2 and B2.

Computer would only show 16 gig in memory, while showing all the ram in the DRAM Status in bios.

I switched the 4s to A1A2 and 8s to B1B2. DRAM Status still shows all 4 rams, but now Memory only shows 12gig.

Its the same company ram, same speed etc etc.

I've tried a few easy fixes such as using different slots, restarting pc etc etc

Please help, I'm so over computer problems at this point.

H170-PRO motherboard, BIOS Ver.3402. X.M.P. disabled if that matters. Ram is Corsair 2133MHz.

edit:

Mods in the livechat are asshole pricks with fucking power issues. Absolutely fucking crazy

Hi, got the game recently thanks to re-watching that Sseth video.

Anyways, I ended up in a solar system after following some basic mission, still not really knowing what I was doing.

but...

Turns out there are 2 planets here, one is a luddics path, and they're hostile, but have no fleet what so ever. The other planet, is neutral.

So I basically just went back and forth between these two planets and gave all the marines, heavy weapons, and illegal stuff to the Luddics.

I now have around 1.5mil credits and still no idea what I'm doing.

What do I do with this kinda money?
