That Lee Valley/Parks and Recreation post got me wondering how often ‘Ottawa’ actually gets name dropped in popular culture.

Off the top of my head, Brooklyn Nine Nine’s the only program I could think of that’s ever mentioned our fair city (and they’ve done it twice for some reason).

Hoping they have that Salzburg kit they were wearing today. The PSG white kit looks pretty nice as well.

And as for the flip side, the second I see that Manchester City third kit, I will be backing the eff out (I’m not straining my eyes for 20 minutes looking at that ridiculous thing...)

What happens to all the people that have been skirting the system by jumping on the back of the bus? Is OC Transpo going to be seeing a slight uptick in revenue along the Confederation Line or are all those folks just going to have to start walking from now on?

From the girls, it would definitely be Amy as I find her to be the most relatable in terms of overall personality (smart, good sense of humour, decent human being). Love me some Bernie, but her tendency to go off would get old after awhile. And don’t even get me started on Penny (self centred, self absorbed, etc...)

From the guys, it would be a tougher choice. Most definitely not Sheldon (tiresome beyond belief), and probably not Howard based on his years of ridiculing Raj. Speaking of Koothrapali, he’d probably be the most fun to hang out with, but having to prop up his self esteem all the time would start to be a burden.

In the end, I’d have to go with Leonard. Yeah, he’s kind of a whin

Seems like at least two weeks since I’ve had a stable signal downtown from what’s typically been one of my most reliable stations.

Only 15 minutes left for the 81+ SBC, and panicked buyers are coming out of the woodwork (just sold my last 4 discards for 3K each, although 2.5K might be a more realistic price point).

Doesn’t hurt to try if you don’t need them.
