I recently heard a term I had never heard before and I was just wondering if was it racist. I'm presuming it is but I'm not 100% sure

The term was soy-boy. this was in a local cafe near where I live in Dublin Ireland, I go there a lot, it's run by a very nice Chinese family.

Three young men were sitting at a table near me and I heard them use that term after one of the owner's sons had taken their order.

I didn't get the context so I don't know if it was meant as a joke or not but the men burst out laughing after saying it.

The server did nothing to deserve such name-calling.

I was with my doctor this morning as I injured my back badly.

I was talking to her about the fact that I haven't had a full period in about 4 months. Nothing to do with pregnancy as my partner lives in the UK and I don't cheat.

My periods were nothing but a pain literally and figuratively. Very heavy, and lasted for a week with chronic pain, sweats and serious PMS.

I have had a couple of 24-hour bleeds that would start at night and end the following night over the lsst 4 months. Heavy but nothing as long as my normal period would be.

If this is pre-menopause, as I hope it is, I am glad to see the end of my period. What comes now can't be any worse

I know that Ezri Dax is not a liked charecter among fans but i do have a question about how Captain Sisko treated her in the above named episode .

When Ezri was in Siskos fathers resturant at her first apperance. she told them she didnt choose to be joined. She had none.of the training or preperation Jadzia and the other hosts had for it. She was the only trill on the ship going back to the trill home world with the Dax symbiont after Jadzia was killed. It took a turn for the worse and it had to be joined with Ezri.

Knowing that she had no preparation or training to be joined why did Sisko give her a bollocking when she came to his office looking to leave star fleet . He must have known

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the gigs so far but spare a thought for us here in Dublin and Belfast , where the tour should have started .

You may not be aware but here in Dublin we've had a gig postponed , as did Belfast, for a second time . This was owing to the more stringent Covid-19 restrictions here in Dublin ( they have relaxed a bit now)

My point . Ticketmaster are saying these gigs are still to have there dates announced as are promoters MCD. With Phil Collins health concerns and his saying the tour won't go on into 2021 i don't expect to see the date rescheduled .

I could be wrong of course but if the band announced the rescheduling of the 2 gigs into next year Tony Smit
