Hello, I've previously made a post requesting help finding my first DAP. After some recommendations and a lot of research, i narrowed down my options to 4 possible players that cover the things i need. One thing I find conflicting information about is battery life. Of the following 4 options which would you recommend in terms of sound and battery life? I know the Fiio is the only android option but im not very particular about android especially if the Hiby OS is solid enough.
- Tempotec V3 Blaze (around $140 on Alix)
- Hiby R3 Pro II (Around $180 on Alix)
- Fiio JM21 (around $180 for 3/32 or $220 for 4/64 on amazon)
- Hidizs AP80 Pro Max (Around $170 on Alix)
I'd like to ask for a recommendation for my first DAP.
My budget is around $150, I'm willing to go a bit higher but I'd really prefer if I can stay within budget.
I have 2 separate set of requirements consider it an either or situation...
- EQ, good DAC/s, Bluetooth (LDAC & APTX adaptive) or can work with a dongle like the Questyle QCC Pro, descent battery life, ability to stream music from YouTube music.
OR

Hey I’m new to the whole audiophile world and I’m looking to get into it but I have no idea where to start.
I have a budget of around $300 and I want to get a DAC + Headphones + IEM (no silicone tips as they never sit well in my ears).
I owned multiple Bluetooth headphones and earbuds I’m going to list them below so you have an idea of what I like.
Headphones: APM2 (loved the clarity, separation, and soundstage but hated the weight as they slide around my head when moving and not enough base), Sony XM6 (Love the bass but no definition in the bass, not enough clarity and soundstage too small), Bose QC 35 II (I don’t LOVE anything about them but I don’t hate anything either, they do e
I had my stitches all sorted with the diamond chisels.
I bought a French pricking iron or French chisel (not sure what it’s called) and I managed to ruin to wallet projects with that thing!
It’s like I’m back to my first leather project with my stitching.
