Hey guys, the prologue completely sold me on this game at first, but now that I'm out and about I'm starting to feel a bit less enthusiastic about the game. I'm currently at the point where I got the security key card and I want to investigate the evac zone. But I did hear that I should be killing resonants instead, so I've gone to the patterned factory.

Remedy's version of NY is gorgeous, but the areas are a bit same-y, though there will be some curve balls probably (just like in the predecessor). I do wonder what I'm supposed to do though - do I alternate resonant boss fights with main quests? Should I clear all map markers? Controls biggest strength is the narrative and world building an

Hey everyone, just wondering if I can swap aberrant forms? For square and triangle, there are different slots. So all I need to do is find Living Shards to craft another form and then I can always switch in the load out menu right? Or do I have to enter the gap every time to manually reset?

Can I swap combat abilities as well? Just wondering why I need R2,/L2/R1 if all we get is the one combat ability.

Just a bit overwhelmed! Thanks

I've read the consensus is to invite him in, for his dialogue. But I don't love the idea of someone in my head all the time, dropping "witty" one liners and commenting everything. Plus, I don't buy his redemption arc attempt. He terrorized Iulian to the point Iulian literally would rather kill himself to get back at him rather than keep living! He oversaw all this cruelty inflicted on the townspeople and now I'm supposed to buy him as like a Johnny Silverhand-type character? It's blatantly obvious he only changed up because he's terrified of being stuck in vampire hell. I do want to get as much lore insight and backstory as possible, so maybe keep him around for that? Idk. What did you guys

Best use of time?

Question 🩸

Hey guys, I'm currently on Day 8 and really enjoying myself with the game and the combat especially. Ive already angered Ambrus and will soon start the duel, but I can't help but notice that the clock is ticking. I do spend some time on idle tasks like Volk and the curious houses in Svartrau, which I really want to keep doing since it adds to the atmosphere.

Other than that though, what would you consider high priority? Court activities/forge it anew? And when should I meet Anca? I'm worried that it's like a Hanako at Embers situation where it kind of locks you in pacing wise. Is there anything I should never do because it's a waste of time (I imagine waiting is a no-no)?

Thanks guys!

Hey guys, I absolutely loved the prologue to this game. The townspeople NPCs were varied in the tasks they gave you, and everything you did contributed to the sepulchral atmosphere that presses down on everyone suffering under Brencis' yoke.

Right now though, I have to increase my infamy to join the rebels and I'm finding the necessary quests to be pretty repetitive. I haven't gone to the city yet because I've been investigating every question mark in the northern portion of the map, but it seems like all quests are some variation of rescuing prisoners, destroying the leech barrels....I would prefer narrative-driven quests every now and then. It feels like last few hours I've been doing the

Hey guys, Verso just joined my party and I don't quite know how to best utilize him. I'm currently using the sword that gives you C as the lowest rank but I lose perfection and rank pretty quickly since the game is getting quite a bit harder. I just free roamed with Esquie and wow, I got my ass kicked and avoiding damage is getting tough. So I don't know the best way to play Verso right now.

Should I use him as a support character at first? I haven't even made it to S rank yet in a battle (just arrived at the Battlefield and now with Gradient Counters in the mix I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Thanks y'all, LOVE this game and I haven't wanted to get better and practice in a non-soulslike a long tim

Hey guys, Kim keeps telling me that I'm missing something with the deserter. Unfortunately I don't have a motive yet. I know that the solution is in the secret passages of the Hotel since Ive done everything else. But for some reason, the window in the Hardy booth isn't interactive for me? It was at the begining (but it wasn't time back then). Did I wait too long? Don't really want to start over from the save before the tribunal tbh.

Hey guys, I'm going to take out my PS5 fan and do some cleaning since the console keeps overheating and shutting down. I don't have compressed air right now, I'm thinking that a thin paint brush/q-tips and a microfiber cloth ought to be enough right? Can't really use a vacuum since mine doesn't have adjustable power setting, it's either on or off.

PS5 beeping three times and shutting down

:POST_Discussion: Discussion

Hey guys, my PS5 has now done this twice - beeping three times and then shutting off. It happened in the same game, at the same point. I went to feel the PS5 afterwards since I thought it might be due to overheating and it did feel pretty warm despite only running half an hour.

Unfortunately it is very hot right now where I live, AC is not an option but the room temp is 78 F/26 C. That obviously doesn't make things better for my poor PS5. I used to not get overheating warnings often and I did clean the vents, but its been very superficial cleaning at most. I have yet to actually take out the fan, and when I remove the plates to look at the fan I can definitely see dust build up at the blad
